I'm not afraid to say that. This band had a huge impact on world pop and rock music. I have a lot of favorite Beatles songs. I want to mention some: I'll Be Back, A Magical Mystical Tour, Eleanor Rigby, A Day in the Life While My Guitar Is Quietly Crying, Taxman, Your Mom Should Know When I'm Sixty-Four.

This version is a cover from the Eddie Murphy movie "Imagine That". That movie is fantastic and cover several Beatles songs. That said, this song done by the original Beatles is definitely a classic and one to cherish!

I read a description of the Beatles long ago. John was off on an Art trip Paul was working on money and contracts George was off on a religious trip Ringo was mowing his lawn.

We used to sing this when was in the Marine Corps every morning on our run as we watched sun rise. We ran very early because in the Mojave desert it can get hot very early in the morning

Yeah, I thought that too. It took me a while to feel 95% sure it wasn't, because it sounds like an intentional imitation. But like others in this thread, I thought maybe it was the original, remixed. But near the end that belief started to be harder to sustain.

George H is just coming into his own as the Beatles come to an end. His catalogue of unrecorded/released tunes led to a lot of post-Beatles songs, and the vibe in this tune is an indicator of what most of music would be going... Thanx for another heartwarming reaction folks!

Why is there a picture of the The Beatles years before this song was recorded? Things moved fast in the 60s, that picture was from a different Beatles era. They had hair down to their shoulders and beards in this period.

What would be a great listen for you now would be "Never Without You" by Ringo Starr.. A song he wrote for George Harrison who wrote and sang this song. When George passed away Ringo wrote it for him. It has a reference to this song in it. It's a beautiful song he wrote for his very great friend.

I'm not sure that was actually The Beatles, but I love harmonies too, and am surprised at how often people don't notice their use in songs. When thinking of these previous times--not that it applies to the Beatles, but--a lot more people went to church back then. So if you watch a lot of rock bands that were big from the 50's to the 70's you'll hear a lot of people who grew up singing in choirs, and those bands almost always feature harmonies. Then those bands set the standards for others until almost everyone includes harmonies whether it's Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Pink Floyd, Triumph, The Beach Boys, or The Beatles. Groups like Led Zeppelin were the exception. For most bands, if you wanted to make it during the era where musical talent and ability led, you tried to put as much art on the table as possible just to try to keep up with the goldrush of music that was surrounding everyone.

From the beginning I didn't think it sounded like George's voice nor accent, nor J and P's harmonies, but the music sounds original. I really feel you need to listen to the Beatles' original version as George's voice is so spiritual. I've never heard anyone sing this song as well as George.

I am in no way being critical of you two, please don't think that I am, I'm just trying to help you guys out a little. I'm aware that you're kinda flying blind here a little but please listen to us that know. You're 0 for 2 now, Hey Jude should be a redo , live on the David Frost Show, 1968 or at least the original from the single. In 68 this song sat at #1 in the US for 19 weeks, that's over 1/3 of a year. I just told you about Here Comes The Sun. Look at all the comments you're getting here. I don't think anyone would mind if you two did these two all time classics over again. I am subscribing now but lets get this Beatles thing right here, no more covers in the future please. Guys when you do a Beatles reaction type in The Beatles and then the song title and you will get the right song this happened with Hey Jude as well, no offence but it isn’t rocket science
