Excellent, that is what I call - virtuosity !!! People know to play guitar, but not bass guitar so they think it is a piece of cake. Wonderful, my dear young lady, wonderful !!!
Niña hermosa, muy buena interpretación, ojalá y pudieras deleitarnos con la canción de los Beatles Taxman. Saludos desde la Ciudad de México, de la Delegación Iztapalapa.
I have played bass for over 25+ years and this gives me hope for the current generation of bassists. I am curious though, that looks and sounds like a late 90's, early 2000's Fender Jazz. You also have video of a tobacco sunburst Jazz with ebony inlays.. looks and sounds more vintage (i.e. early 90's). Please let me know the year and vintage on your instruments. I love the tone and obvious playability.... (I have a '75 Jazz and '81 Precision I'd be more than happy to post heh.)
mi pare che questo pezzo fu registrato con un Fender VI suonato a plettro da George Harrison. La linea di basso è evidentemente di stampo chitarristico. Brava!!!
This song began as a faster, rockier song (the original version, with John on the Epiphone electric guitar and Paul on his Hofner bass, is shown in the “Get Back” movie.) The Beatles struggled with the arrangement of this song, and the ensuing arguments led to George temporarily quitting the band. Once George returned, they recorded the slower, acoustic arrangement (Paul and John played acoustic guitars) that would go on the album. Paul didn’t want any electric guitar leads on the song, so George played the bassline on his Telecaster.
Ciao
The funny thing is that there is actually no bass guitar played on this song! George Harrison played the "bass" line on the lower strings of a guitar, believe it or not.
if you watch the version of two of us on let it be, there is no bass, just george playing the "low strings" on the telecaster-pardon my lack of knowledge of music....interesting to actually hear a bass line.
Very Good ! I've never paid attention to the whole bass line on this song. So this was very exciting - hearing it for the first time. You handle that Fender very well. How long've you been playing? And, by the way, you're cute and very yummy !
