I Love England 🏴 although they don’t like migrants but still I love Britain 🇬🇧. Most sophisticated people on planter earth right now. I always wish I could live there specially in small city like York.
GREAT VIDEO, LOVE THE SOUND OF YOUR VOICE. CURRENTLY LIVE IN LIVERPOOL, NY, USA, BUT WILL BE VISITING YORK AUGUST OF 2023.....MY FIRST TRIP ABROAD, WITH ENGLAND BEING MY FIRST CHOICE....IM AN ANGLOPHILE FOR SURE!!!! LOVE THIS, CAN'T WAIT.................❤❤
York is without doubt a stunning city...steeped in history... Capital city of Yorkshire..... I had years ago along with my daughter and granddaughter the pleasure of staying there... Well I am a Leeds United fan.... 💟💝💓💗💕💖💜💚💞👍
The shambles market was really nice tried the tastiest fudge I’ve ever eaten, went to the York beer and cider festival at knavesmere race course, busking outside the kings arms by the river Ouse....didn’t spend enough time there would love to visit again one day...greetings from New Zealand
Thanks for your post , it is a marvellous city with its own history. Delighted to see it and many would aspire , to be there....May be next time or birth. Thanks again.
What a beautiful city and the way you narrated...Awesome. was lucky to visit York in summer 2017 for work. Hope to visit again this time with family. Thanks!
Sir, thank you very much the nice video. For me this is the most beautiful city of England. The love, life, education all I received from the York has enriched me. I miss the city. My granny Norma Hustwick.
Thanks for doing such a great video and commentary of my home town.. It is a wonderful place to visit and i would say live in but its getting more and more expensive. You captured it beautifully and i look forward to pt2 atb Lee
Really enjoyed this. It was a brilliant piece and one the tourist board could use. Having been there twice in the last year (for the first time ever) I cannot wait to go back. Great filming and lovely, gentle commentary. well done.
Lovely to see where you are from, how beautiful. It's no wonder it matches you perfectly, your videos help us see the real world. Thanks again good friend.
Thanks, I am actually working on another two films of York right now! Part two of the Railway Museum and a trip down the river on our boat! Coming soon! Paul
I just returned from my York vacation. I also grew up in Yorkshire but live in California. York is in my blood I have a connected to this city I am unable to express without getting emotional. I have been fortunate to be able to travel the world BUT YORK beats everything hand down.
Hi just seen your comment. Me and my partner are thinking of moving to york from London due to work. Is york a safe place to live? What are the crime rates? Are the locals friendly to newcomers and people with foreign appearances? Is there a lot to do? Any drug problems? Any advice would be truly appreciated.
The heart and centre of Yorkshire. The best city on the planet and I hope to live there soon. (The living costs are difficult to overcome) as a Yorkshire man with a very deep maternal tie to the place it feels like I just belong. I’ve been there countless times and I never get sick of place.
Researching my family genealogy has led me to this magnificent city to 1100 and the Harrison line there. The video makes me doubly desirous to visit it. Thank you
Pastor Harrison you should definitely go visit! I just got back from my brothers wedding in York. We stayed at the grange and I couldn’t recommend it more! Great place! I flew into Manchester and trained to York, super easy!
Shame we weren't friends back in 1914 & 1939 then perhaps cities such as Hannover, Frankfurt & Dortmund would still look similar to york etc And perhaps the big cities in the UK wouldn't be such malevolent shitholes today either.
Thanks Bhachandra, long time no hear! Nice to hear from you. I head out to Australia on Monday, but today I shall post Day 2 of the Kota Kinabalu trip. Great shots! Paul
As usual, a wonderful film. Made me want to get on a plane a come right over. Have to add it on my list of places to visit when I next come over. thank you so much for sharing these wonderful films and relaxing me with that soothing face. don't know where you are at this time but here in the US we have been hit with a god-awful flu. I believe there are 2-3 different ones going around and I've had them all I think since Christmas!!
Thanks Peggy, nice to hear from you again. I live in Hong Kong, so I am filming out of the window right now as being on the 36 floor I was in a cloud when I woke up, and I am doing a time lapse as I emerge from it in the morning sunshine! India in two weeks, then Kota Kinabalu in East Malaysia, and Australia in late April, but I will be back in York, Norway, Guernsey, London and hopefully a cruise in June. More films coming! Trieste in Italy next. Paul
sounds exciting to me. what type of cruise are you thinking about? I've only been on one many years ago. 8 days, spent a day in St. Thomas, Barbados, Dominica, Antigua, Saint Martin and Martinique. the last day we spent in Puerto Rico, on the beach and shopping. The ship traveling at nite so each morning you woke to a new destination. The water on the eastern shores and by the islands is just so beautiful, aqua blue and warm. Being from the North not used to warm ocean water!!
Wow hey cool vid I’ve been there’s with my mom but not my dad as he was at work fishing cool I sore the queen on the shambles she was nice and we had a meal at Pizza Hut
Best video to date, in my humble opinion. Btw, those of us from across the pond, thought you were talking about the 'horses gate'.?! And you were just making another one of you British funnies.
