It is absolutely okay to talk about beauty!!! I have been through so many things that hit right on with this conversation i think a lot of us ladies can some what relate to this . 😘it took me a long time to just accept myself and what I looked like . But now today I am so in love with how God created me in his image on the inside and out that Christ lives in me. I'm happy and always ready to share Gods love with someone .God turns ashes into beauty . this was really good ladies loved it!❤God is Good!❤ you ladies are gorgeous!!!! I’m really in a good place to hear this today. Because of Joyce I’ve let God help me so instead of giving my insecurities more than five minutes I have a meal replacement shake, doggy paddle 50 laps in my pool, do a deep conditioner, lay in the sun for fit d. The insecurity will subside.

You ladies bring a lot of joy to me and others. Love that we can now see you while listening. You are girlfriends in my mind. May God continue to bless this ministry.

This was good. I was also bullied as a child. I am now about to turn 60. I have an eye that is out of alignment and I am so self conscious of it. It impacts everything I do. It doesn't help that I am still single, too. So, I believe "most" of the time that I am not beautiful.

Now that I look back, they were jealous because I didn't pay attention to them at all... Laurie I can relate to some of the problems you went thru in high school...

I believe that god delights in us when we enhance our self image physically. As we treat our bodies with respect to god, and not vain or make ourselves and idol -- i thinks its ok. God delights in us. He made us for his glory-- we are "uniquely" and wonderfully made.

Erin you look so pretty in your 🎩... and all of you are beautiful. thankful for this podcast because i been battling myself worth or beauty because of unlikely experience 2 weeks ago. I felt like I am back again to my old self that doesn’t see any beauty in me because of how other people treated me. thank you for being God’s way of reminding me who I am and that I am wonderfully created in the image of God. What He thinks about me and how He sees me is more important than how other people think and see about me. Confession... because of that experienced I had 2 weeks ago I was thinking of going shopping for new clothes and shoes and dress differently than I usually would (I am happy and relaxed with my basics t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers). But after watching this, I will stick to who I am, with a smile remembering that I am wonderfully created by God. thank you ladies and have a wonderful and blessed day. God bless you all.

Girls I wish I could hang out with you. Friendship is so important with the right people. Love your senses of humour. Brightens up a season in my life where life is about taking my mum through breast cancer again. She got it at 81 and now again at 83. She is otherwise so fit and looks ten years younger. She is not just my mum but my best friend and we have such a laugh. But she is finding it tough. Love the advice about doing one thing for yourself and gone back to 30 mins a day on a watt bike. Sure helping me through. Along with knowing God is walking through it with us both and holding us up through this season. Can’t wait for the next pod cast. How do I sign up for the emails?.

Hey Beautiful women! I too as a man, want to be beautiful. Beauty comes from the heart n yes, it’s God’s loving me that the beautiful grows in me. I love the word ‘Beautiful’ n I see every one as beautiful. For most it’s hidden due to pain, whether you’re Christian or not. Guys tend to not being liked to be called beautiful , too feminine for them. I understand, however, I want people to realize how beautiful n wonderful n valuable….they are, all in Christ. I am careful, even with Christian men, they are not used to it to say ‘in Christ’. So I will keep loving people where they are at n remind them of all the wonderful qualities that God sees n feels about us. And I perceive the world from an emotional view, more like women. N I’m very in touch with my feelings. Now, to keep letting go of the ugliness (I was called ugly growing up) n allow God to do His part. I love you all, n that love comes from God, a never ending source. Now, self forgiveness is a challenge. I’ll keep giving it n every thing to God? I really miss Jai. You three were like Joyce’s angels (like Charlie’s Angels tv show ❤️🙏❤️

I don't seek perfection in knowone.cause knowone is perfect...but there are times in everyone's life when God will do something amazing in your life...as a companion.kailee is perfect to me.what I mean is..what I have waited on is the woman God blessed me with ..and the things about her are perfect to me..all women are beautiful..God doesn't make ugly..but kailee is so beautiful to me.and I love her very much

Now that I think about it in a lot of ways I am so happy my older brother bullied me.... because nobody bulled me at school .... I'll although I saw so many kids being massively bullied and they never stuck up for themselves.......I became tough so nobody even tried it.... and now that I'm older... and I'm in the senior center there are women that are bullies.... Even at their age..... but what I do because my parents taught me respect my elders..... is I just move away from that negativity..... and walk away or I have told them you should be ashamed of yourself!!!!! does your grandchildren know that you act this way!!!!! and if you don't like it you move!!!!! I kind of felt awful telling an elderly woman like that!!!!! but I think she had it coming they look at me because I dress different:))))) I'm not like everybody else !!!!!sometimes I dress like I'm a 3-year-old with little toot toot!!!!! I'm a dancer .... Which the lord gave me as a gift!!!!!and I believe that they cannot stand the happiness they see in me... or how good I dance..... or whatever it may be. and they look at it as probably being weak...... but little do they know that I stand up for myself..... I love who I am:)))))) and nobody's going to bully me. I don't care who it is I walk with the Lord:)))))) and I never mistreat anyone!!!!!! and treat everybody with kindness:))))) and I do have lots of women that like me:)))) or lots of people!!!! but I think if I would have not been bullied!!!! as a small child it would at home!!!!! but my brother I would have been bullied at school !!!!!and it would have been worse :(((((so I thank God for that!!!! Even if at the time it was the worst thing I had to go through..... one of the first things that I had to go through!!!! because God made me a very strong person.......

Noooo! Not vanity. It's so good to take time to care for yourself. Women particularly are very good at putting others first and feeling taking time for themselves is selfish. No way. Whether it's that time at home or an hour in the expert hands of a beauty therapist it is just that...therapy. it helps build confidence, take time out, rest and relax. A little bit of time for yourself helps you fill your tank and then give back out.

I’m 62 years old and for years I hated and thought I was the ugliest and fattest women I. I was sexually abused by my sept father from a baby to age 13 years which made feel different I tried so many diets made my self sick every time I ate fatty foods through out my life time I slimmed down to a Uk 12 and found that men were still not interested in me! But as come to know God I’ve released God beauty and that’s all that counts and love myself moved pass the abuse mind set is good and if you don’t like me the way I am that’s your issue and not my issue. Love you all and all in the 🌍. You are all beautiful women to me.

One thing I was always self conscious about was my birth mark. It’s a perfect imperfect rectangle located on the top of my right arm just a few inches above my wrist, and being right handed, it was always there announcing itself to everyone! Most of the time the first thing someone would ask me was “What’s that?” “Is that a Band-aid?” or they’d point it out before laughing at me. I wear my feelings on the outside as my daily outfit so I could feel my face turning into that burning red inferno of embarrassment! I tried covering it with makeup, an actual bandage, and even wore long sleeves in the summer...and I live in South Louisiana! I did that for many years until one day I looked over at my arm, getting ready to cover it up again, and thought “you know, maybe I was marked special....maybe it’s a special mark from God....YES, It IS special!! God gave me this birth mark bc HE loves ME!” and from that point on I’ve proudly kept my birth mark out in the open to remind myself of His special mark of love! That day my birth mark became my beauty mark of love and it gets better bc my son was born with the exact same “beauty” mark....a permanent stamp of God’s LOVE♥️

Thank you for sharing your stories. I never looked at myself as beautiful. Nobodies never told me I was pretty or beautiful. I feel my features are masculine. Even when I was in my 20's I was mistaken as a boy. Hurtful. I know God says I'm beautiful, I wish I did.

And plus people percieve us different than we percieve ourselves, so i use my looks to serve

Physical attraction is not based on the bodily features, I've seen slim girls i was attracted to and slim girls i wasnt and samething for curvy girls. The dna expresses physical attraction, not the mind. So with that, i just use my looks to serve my wife

I was just a normal girl. Sadly I still dealing with that label.
