There are good men and women but they are "hidden" and held by God's hand. Not everyone can see them and reach them. Be yourself the women you want to marry if you were a man. I have been 17 years in marriage. And the feminist said that you don't need a man is a lie. To me it is comforting to know that you don't have to cary everything on your shoulders that you have that special someone who can help you cary lifes burdens with you. And been married has given me protection and security. Expecially when i have mental illness my husband has been my greatest support and rock i could rely on.

Nah, it's pretty easily broken. I don't condone a threesome/polygamous marriage. Yuck. Even with C in the marriage, it is W that typically breaks it. C is fundamentally useless garbage in a marriage, and makes it a threesome. What G ultimately eluded to from that verse is Himself being in perfect relationship, the 3-in-1 - that is pretty narcissistic. Please reread your bible and note that the first thing Eve did after being created is to hangout with the dvl, plot her upgrade process to G status, and manipulated A. Life was like a roller coaster, it was fun but at the end was sad and lonely once it calm down. Now I’m married and have son, my life is well calm and relaxed, I able to take new challenges like cooking and focusing on someone other than myself, my son whom I love dearly. I'm 22 years old, waiting to start studying for a master's degree, and I still simply look forward to doing work and coming home to a wife and a child or two, helping my wife set the dinner table and making sure things are in sufficient order. I really have realised my motivations in life are very simple. I want to provide for the people I love, more than anything. None of that was realised for me had it not been for Professor Jordan B. Peterson. He is actually a hero in my eyes. He has set millions of lives on a trajectory of improvement, including mine. UPDATE: Since the master's degree I was admitted to was the 2nd on my application list, I started to look for a job in software developing instead. And at that, I succeeded. I will start in january and hope you all establish your place in the world. UPDATE #2: It's may 2023, the job's going quite well and I hope everyone has a blessed life. I like that it’s a story about how we are one being when we work together in marriage as a team using the strengths of our “separate” selves to the benefit of our whole self as a married couple. Becoming one flesh even in 2 autonomous bodies where one can have something happen but the other can impact them so much. She impacts the prince in that he suddenly feels devoted to her (his other half) well-being and he impacts the princess in that she cannot stand alone against a world once she sees her potential other half. When one of “us” is weak we lift the other up essentially. We inspire each other to do great deeds.

This is the most truthful and concise definition of marriage I've ever heard, bar none. My partner and I are both severely traumatized people from serious early childhood abuse and neglect. I have yearned for a rigorously honest, fully committed relationship since I was a teenager but I have consistently chosen damaged men who never fully commit in our marriage. My partner and I both love Dr. Peterson and the wisdom he so generously shares resonates with both of us. I can't wait to share this video with him because if anything can penetrate his 10-years-and-counting avoidance to showing vulnerability, despite my unwavering demonstration that I will not betray him, this video, from this source, may provide sufficient proof that my years of sharing my desire for the type of relationship Dr. Peterson describes is motivated by an authentic, loving wish to collaboratively create what is best for our "oneness" rather than a desire to trap or own him or to gain power over him. Please send us your best wishes if you are moved to do so.

We've been married for 5 years, together for 10. It is so true that a successful marriage is one where both parties contribute and support the marriage itself instead of just the individual needs. Selfishness, self-importance, immaturity, and greed have no place in a marriage. If you struggle with any of these vices, DO NOT get married until you have resolved these problems in yourself. Through our hard work and the grace of Adonai, my husband and I have been incredibly successful in our marriage and intend to remain strong, resilient, loving, and humble until the end.❤

This.. This is marriage and I'm doing it right, I was scared the terrible things made me undeserving that she deserved so much better which I was telling her the truth I couldn't admit to myself, and she still fucking loves me and wanted exactly *that* to happen for me to grow and become better since I had absolutely nothing that was before her she knew that, if it wasn't for her I would of rode down a terrible path. @latt.qcd9221
@latt.qcd9221 Год назад
Peterson says some good things, but he's entirely inconsistent in regards to marriage where, on the one hand, he will rightly point out how unbelievably devastating the divorce process can be on men and the dangers they face and then, on the other hand, he'll shame people for avoiding relationships involving legal contracts by claiming they don't "trust" each other and that they're "planning for it to end." His care for young men and their suffering is in stark contrast to his seemingly cold, judgement of their avoidance of suffering onset by marriage. He's pushing for men to slay the dragon, get the gold, and share it with the community, not realizing that there is no longer any gold, and the community worships the dragon. To continue advocating for men to slay the dragon, regardless of the reality of the current situation, is morally wrong. Marriage, in its current form, isn't the institution he fantasizes it to be.
@mchristr
@mchristr Год назад
@@latt.qcd9221 When you say "marriage in its current form", do you mean our modern Western concept of marriage? Then reject that concept and look for something immutable. Are you looking for guarantees? A man goes forward without them, knowing there are greater purposes in life than self-preservation or the avoidance of suffering.
@latt.qcd9221
@latt.qcd9221 Год назад
@@mchristr You can't simply "reject the concept and look for something immutable" because marriage is inextricably linked to the State, no matter how you try to arrange things. Signing marriage documents? You're linked to the State. Live together for a long time without a marriage document? You're linked to the State. Not to mention, marriage today offers absolutely nothing for men and women don't bring anything to marriage. You can fantasize about a new "concept" of marriage all you want, but that won't mean it will exist or that such women will exist. If you're signing a contract that says that the woman will be rewarded if she breaks the contract, then, yes, I'm looking for a guarantee that she *_can't_* do that because that's wrong. It's impossible to completely avoid risk, but it's foolish to take on unnecessary risks that bring no reward.

Not built into the text? “And he shall rule over thee” sounds pretty built in. Also Paul understood this clearly when he said “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.” The female submits to the light through first submitting to the male.

People leave when you tell them the truth even when you're married. It's called divorce. 50% of relationships end up that way. Marriage doesn't magically make it better what makes it better is 2 people who actually want to grow and change over the course of their lives
@amyb7823
@amyb7823 7 месяцев назад
Yes, but up until so many years ago, most people didn't divorce. Especially not at the rates of today. Why? Because people valued marriage. They respected marriage for the lifelong commitment that it is supposed to be.
@rosieposie9564
@rosieposie9564 7 месяцев назад
@@amyb7823 That is not the reason most people did not divorce. Today, most divorces are initiated by women. In the past, many women could not leave awful even abusive men because they were financially dependent on them. People still value marriage today but they also value not staying in an awful relationship just out of tradition, duty or lack of financial options.
@amyb7823
@amyb7823 7 месяцев назад
@@rosieposie9564 Yes but why do women initiate divorce more of the time? Much of the time it's due to infidelity. And why is that? Because there are lot of women out there who are willing to have sex before marriage and sleep around. There is also a lot of temptation online- OnlyFans, access to prostitution, pornography etc. This is not good for marriages and for families. Another reason is that women are in the workforce now along with men, not staying at home and tending to the children which is a full time job in itself. A lot of women don't receive help from men in this area because historically women are the ones who tend to household responsibilities. You can blame men for this or you can look at it as society being so critical of more traditional ways of living, critical of men being the leaders of the household and women being stay at home moms that cook, clean and tend to the home that it puts a strain on marriages today. Truthfully, society has also changed economically to where middle class society requires both mom and dad to work full time. That's also an issue. I also don't think it's fair to just blame men and just say well men are abusive and it's all their fault. It's also more socially acceptable to get a divorce now and it's just too easy to give up, divorce and start over. There's no incentive to stay and work out any problems. Women just feel excessively liberated and unwilling to work out the issues. Why should they? They can just get a divorce, get alimony, get child support and start over. I don't believe it's an exclusively men only cause for the problems with marriages today. It's an overall societal issue.

Research into couples who live together before marriage is more nuanced that that. Studies now show that if two people live together out of convenience or because they drifted into it, they are more likely to divorce. But couples who consciously made up their mind to commit before moving in together, are less likely to divorce.

That's hard, to grow a spine later on in life, when your first one was removed ever so diligently. The most important people in your life inadvertently 'told' you, that you cannot cope. That you always needed their help. Thus making you some sort of victim in the world, without them fixing everything. That's simply crippling. BUT, you can grow your own spine! And you start with anything, that interests you, that is a small challenge, but not too hard. For instance: go volunteer at the local pet shelter. Find out, that the doggies look up to you and are grateful for your presence! Take the time to drink that good feeling in of being needed yourself. Your self-confidence will grow bit by bit. Just start with something you can imagine to like doing in a way that makes you serve others. For in serving others, be it handicapped children, lonely elderly or abandoned doggies, you'll find that you ARE having worth! For me, personally, it helped tremendously to start to understand the gospel of Jesus Christ. That God actually Wants me. So much even, that He paid a very high price to call me His own child, by the shed blood of His Son Jesus Christ on that cross, where He bore the sins of all that believe in Him, to be who He says He is: the only way back to a proper Father: father God. To love God above all else and learning to love others as myself, I grew out of adolescence.

@DaveJMorten I grew up in a very strict religious home, that did not allow me to express my personality and eventually realized the only way to grow and feel good about myself was to leave and discover myself outside the constraints and pressure of the community. Elsa's story was about identifying the problem in her life, leaving a situation that was oppressive to her, allowing herself to discover her talents. Even as she discovered her talents, she still felt bound somehow to the world she left behind, so in frozen 2, she had to venture off and discover how she is even more unique than she first believed. She eventually grows into her own and fully embraces herself to the point where she is happy with her relationship to herself and the world and really thrives. That is my goal.

@briarrose7016 10 месяцев назад
@@charmainerichter6954 Well I'm very sorry to hear that, it sounds like the kind of person you wouldn't have wanted to marry. It has less to do with living together and more about the person you choose, imo. The guys I lived with before my husband were just not good choices for marriage even though we lived together for years, I could tell it wouldn't last and cut ties. It just seems it's harder to tell the kind of person someone is until you've lived with them. I know of many marriages that failed because couples moved in together after getting married and found they couldn't get along on most issues and fought about how to keep a home, eventually leading to divorce. I'm going on 10 years next month and while we get along and have everything in common, marriage is still and should be work. Especially once the physical aspect fades and you only have your feelings about each other and your respect for each other to rely on. Once someone loses respect for you in the relationship (like by cheating or lying), there's no hope.

I don't think there is a human being alive, of either sex, who does not want to be loved. To want only to be desired is an indicator of emotional immaturity. If young women are taking advantage of modern freedom, it is natural, but it is not going to satisfy them in the long run.
@delix8869

@@rosemaryallen2128 that’s the issue, the large majority of western women are emotional immature. And they stay that way until they hit the way in their 30s, they’re all used up, and chad no longer wants them. @@rosemaryallen2128 I already do all that. My question is why would a MAN want to date a immature women in the first place.
