Barry’s an impish god in this video. And I’m 100% sure it’s no accident that he’s dressed to the nines in fancy layers. They wanted Barry to be the centerpiece in this video even when he was just strumming the guitar. Barry just naturally grabs attention himself, in his movements, confidence, air, as well as his looks.

This was the ending song on the Bee Gees 1st album - and they really knocked it out of the park! Robin's voice is other-worldly and just bring on the onionworks. He was such a special singer - this may not be live - but it's the closest thing I've found to a live version of this gem - and I'll take it!

I had forgotten this song. Robin knew how to sing. Funny that he's 17 and singing "When I was young..." and it's not as silly as most teenagers are when trying to appear world-weary. Of course he already had a fair bit of experience in his life and also had spent a lot of time around adults more than kids his own age.

Aah.....that unforgettable sound of the 60's. How could we forget the great music & bands that came from this great generation & these talented brothers made it even more memorable. Robin's voice was out of this world & that psychedelic sound....wow. Whatever happened to it, we lost it along time ago. Sad that the Beegees are no more but Barry keeps the music going.

Just as talented and as handsome as Robin and Maurice were in their own right. You can love Robin and Maurice with out hating Barry. Nice sentiment. However, things did get very nasty in 1969 / 1970. Hence why they went from 5 Bee Gees to 2, then breakup ! But they patched their differences up to reform as a trio.

It was so interesting being teenage back then. You had to be there. The cold war was getting ready to blow up the world. People were digging fallout shelters. The music still had folk in it. "Rock" had not taken over.
I was barely 6. Grew up with these guys thanks to my mom and grandma. I always loved the Bee Gees and Barry was my boyfriend. Still is to this day and forever.
