@@koobs4549 "Did you say six dollars, ma'am? I only want one, ma'am. Not 20!! Please and thank you!!" Sheesh! Six dollars was almost enough to feed the entire Walton family for a week!! lol
Adam - I was one of the people that woman mentioned that she also let see those photos. She invited me to sit on her patio and she brought out boxes and binders filled with pictures (the same ones you saw) for a Beetlejuice filming locations video that I did last year. I even got permission by the landowner of the farm to go up on the hill where the house was built (I also got some great drone views too). I was back this summer to see the props being built for the second movie and I got some good video of the house when it was being rebuilt. Both of those videos are posted on my channel if you’re interested in seeing any of this material.
@@TheDailyWoo We don't get snow here in Tennessee unless it's in Gatlinburg lol. And then they close the roads so you can't drive up and see it ha! Have a great time Salem looked amazing too!!
Everyone but the old woman who lives on the hill where the house was. Can't blame her though, she got tired of all the tourists bothering her. We were also warned not to bother her when we were there a few years ago.
ATW, welcome to my hometown, fun fact I painted the library roof right across from the store and real estate office in the Beetle2Juice juice movies! And ate chili at the church that was used as the dressing room for the movie. Think I may have the front fenders for the old yellow volvo in beetlejuice 1.....a great holiday time here now! B carefull tho, its hunting season, gr8 vlog duders😂nice bathroom at ecb store huh! That lamd line phone will give you free local calls 2!
This was so cool! Literally. 😂 Now I have to watch Beetlejuice again! And I just love that little town of Corinth! And I love that it was snowing! So beautiful! Thank you for your vlog! I always enjoy them.
This is one of my favorite movies from my childhood! I love these kinds of videos on your channel. The miss shannan’s school for girls bldg is such a unique looking bldg it just screams Tim Burton!! Such a cool town where this movie was filmed I love small town USA!
Hey Woo, Thank you for allowing me an escape from my daily routine each morning as i listen & watch as i am at my work station .... You vlogs give me a momentary escape on a trip with you.... Even years down the road you continue to bring joy and releif to so many like myself...
Now I have to go back and watch Tampa Jay’s video he shot in Corinth this past summer. What a difference! Thanks Adam! It’s cool to see this area again!
Adam, I absolutely love that you are spending some time in the Northeast! I grew up in Maine and am hoping sooner rather than later you pay a visit to our family friend Stephen Kings house in Bangor! I think you would love to get a picture in front of it! Enjoy bro!
HEY ATW...WHAT A TRIP! BEETLEJUICE WAS ON CABLE LAST night and I thought to myself," The Woo should document the filming locations for said movie!" Lo and Behold-here it is ! I've already watched it 6 or 7 times and will continue. You've still got the eye for matching up location after location !
My dad actually worked on the production of Beetlejuice back in the 80's. he worked on sets and even worked on cars for many different studios back in the day. He said that the bridge there is the original, that he was told that it was broken down and repurposed into 2 different buildings after filming ended. Also when it comes to the model.. he said he isn't sure what happen with that but rumor is that Tim Burton kept it.. but don't quote him on that.
Rarely do I get jealous watching these videos, but the snow during Beetlejuice filming locations is one of them. I could always go up there if I wanted to, but I couldn't replicate the weather conditions. I'd love a good non-accumulating snowstorm
Thank you for sharing these wonderful locations for the movie with us all. In regards to the house that doubled as the hardware store, you have to remember that Vermont was hit by floods back on July 9th and 10th of this year. That may explain the damage to the property. Keep up the great work!
So Good! Loved the original movie cant wait to see the New one and im stoked that Michael Keaton plays Beetlejuice again too. Awesome matching of the old movie Woo 🪲🪲🪲
That’s an old gas station/convenience store wow! Tampa Jay did a great Beetlejuice video as well and showed some filming props of part 2. Awesome that the original covered bridge exists, looks like they redid the side where the Volvo drives through.
I was hoping they’d leave the covered bridge after they finished the 2nd movie. Also can’t believe the maitland building looks that bad. Sad to see it that way. They really fixed up for the movie. Awesome vid sir 🎃👍
Those gliders were fun. When i was a kid my grandparents lived in a barnhouse off a hill so the deck was like 16 feet high and wed launch those things in the valley and theyd go like 300 yards! Wish geo tags were a thing in the late 80s early 90s..... some hunters were probably really confused lol.. I think you're spot on about the hardware store facade. Looks like they just loosely attached it and pulled it. Hope they fix it before winter!
I believe the new covered bridge was donated to the ski area to use as a function hall. When I was there in August it looked like the pieces were stacked in front of the warehouse.
Thanks for doing this. I was wondering if the stuff was still there but it looks like they put most everything back in storage. Need this strike to end, I really want this sequel to happen.🤞
I live in Vermont and this is the most accurate depiction of living here I have ever seen 😂 my town has a general store that is identical lmao i hope you had a good time!! Its a vibe for sure. I hope they get the funding for the Beetlejuice museum that would be awesome
Adam, really enjoyed your awesome and cool BEETLEJUICE filming locations video! I love BEETLEJUICE! Loved the snow coming down and so beautiful! Thank you for taking me along with you on your travels! YOU ROCK!!!!!
I really appreciate your channel, Adam. And because of your narration skills, I feel as if I'm watching old episodes of "On the Road with Charles Kuralt" (I hope you take that as the HUGE compliment it was meant to be 8-)). I find your journeys to filming locations, back lots etc, really entertaining. And you being such a movie history/trivia buff really adds so much to those adventures. Add in your journeys to historical sites, (like the one you took up Pikes Peak - the views were jaw-dropping!!), and that makes me appreciate your channel even moreso! Thank you for taking us along on your adventures. Always looking forward to your next video. Thank you so kindly for what you do. 8-)
Adam, did you realize that Corinth Vermont is in ORANGE COUNTY? Also.. FUN FACT: When in Corinth Vermont you are closer to Montreal Canadaland than you are Massachusetts!
This is one of my favorite movies! Thank you for showing this I love the Snow! The chickens reminded me of a great joke I heard. "Why did the chicken cross the road" "To check out a BOOK BOOK BOOK from the Library!" Thank you for all thank you for taking us along!
Adam, my sister lives in Is Rutland vermont whenever I go to visit my sister I like to go to the mom and pop store that are all over vermont. I would advise you to dress a little warmer than you're dressed. In vermont It Can get extremely cold in the mountains. I would carry an extra jacket in my car just case you break down. P s, there was a lot of flooding in vermont about six months ago, so you may see some areas that are washed out.
I live north of Burlington Vermont and got about an inch at my house that day. Just turned the heat on the other night too! Brrr! But I love it! There really is no place like Vermont to live. The Northeast itself in my opinion is the best place to grow up and live. Great video, Ive been watching your northeast vids and love seeing my home state of Massachusetts in your vlogs. Happy Northeasting!
Those pictures are just precious. You should try to scan them or digitize them in some way. Great to see from an archival way. The social history of Beetlejuice!
If you where ever to come over to liverpool id like to meet up and get on 1 of your videos. The love u have for universal studios and 80s 90s movies that we all love is absolutley brilliant. What a guy. Keep up the good work n the awsome vids too 😊👊👍
LOL the no return on ammo sign made me laugh! I can see the conversation now. Person: "Can I exchange these bullets?" Storekeeper: "Nope, no returns on ammo." Person: "Well, dang it. These didn't work, my wife is still alive." Storekeeper: "Oh, you should have bought the .450 for the elephant gun....those are gonna cost ya."
Mmmmmm! 🥪🥪🥪 I can just taste a delicious baloney sandwich from the general store. When we would visit my mom's small hometown, we would always go to the general store for a sandwich. Ah! The memories.
You are so close to Keene NH my home town where parts of Jumaji was filmed. They still have the Parish Shoe advertisement on the wall. Amongst all the other wall art that the Wall Dogs painted all over town. -Jon
Traveling with you I am always sitting at edge of my chair with my hair kind of tingling and my teeth sort of clicking…I am going to have to start taking a tranquilizer before your vlogs, EXCITING!👺🐿️🦆☕️
Adam!!! Hopefully you’re coming up to Burlington/Stowe area. We would love to see you. Tillotson provided props for the movie I believe but his history and stories about Vermont are incredible. Also welcome to the weirdest but best little state you’ll ever be in.
When I saw the "Lays" crisps in the store I was taken right back to the Large Marj days!!! I used to love the ways you put the elastic band around the packs to keep them fresh.
Bravo for showing more like the old country store, they’re dying out fast and I have stopped shopping on Amazon and Walmart for this very reason Bravo great content 🎉🎉
The "relic" covered bridge i is too short. The roof ridges total about 30 on the original and about half that in the one you showed. May be an homage to the original with some of the original lumber. Definitely not the same dimensions. Great share ATW.
