by the way,you may want to try saving for clara's light cone and building guard set on her.. the extra damage reduction,energy regen and healing is just so good since she will be your main tank. you get close to 50 % damage reduction with that combo when her ult is at level 10 plus guard set. also,i noticed clara likes effect res and other tanky stats too. Everything above is also my thoughts on arlan... i use clara a lot tho. arlan is avoiding me T-T

​@@itsDenYT another tip, you can set your waypoint healing thing to exclusively heal your Arlan up to a set amount of HP, I personally recommend you to set it on 55% HP and thats why: When you will use your first skill, it will cost you 15% of his HP, so he will be at 40% HP, and if youre using the Guard of Wuthering Snow set on him, which i highly recommend for your challenge, he will replenish his hp from 40% to 48% on your 2nd turn, and on 2nd turn you can use your basic attack to battery some skillpoints for your team. After that on his 3rd turn he will replenish his HP again from 48% to 56%, and you can use your skill again to put him at 41% HP and you can continue with this cycle up to 3 times (6 turns total) if you didnt hit once. After 6 turns, if your enemies is still alive, you need to use his skill twice in a row, because he will be at 51% HP and the Guard of Wuthering Snow set passive will stop working. Why Guard of Wuthering Snow? Well, you have no healer, and your Arlan will be at low hp, so an extra healing and -8% damage taken will help him survive at half hp or less. You still need some defensive stats tho, cant build him glass cannon because he is still dying from any AoE ability even with -8% damage taken passive. IMO in this case HP > DEF because healing from Guard set is 8% anyways, and if you build DEF, its damage mitigation can meet some diminishing returns with your 2pc Guard set passive. It definitely will not be an HP sphere, because lightning dmg bonus is too good, its not boots, because you need more speed, and more speed = more healing from Guard. Its gonna be either body or link rope with HP. He really lacks attack in his kit, so he also need and ATK% piece, so you probably will give up on crit rate/dmg body and go with ATK% body and HP% rope. But thats just my thoughts, im not telling you how to play properly, its really up to you, i just wanted to share my thoughts which can possibly be useful for you.

​@@itsDenYT also, i just looked up on some 3rd party website and holy shit his base stats is so bad. I mean, usually character have some stats at average or lower that average level, and some stats are higher than average, but all his base stats is low as hell, his HP, DEF and ATK is lower than Hook. Thats why, to make him a bit more capable of surviving at least anything, you probably need to equip him with a lightcone that have the highest base stats amongst them, which is "On the Fall of an Aeon" from Herta's shop or "Under the Blue Sky" from gacha. "A Secret Vow" is his signature and probably will give him more damage, but its base DEF is really low.

@@itsDenYT also some info about Clara: Her ultimate increases her taunt value by 500% (makes it 6 times more). Base aggro value of destruction characters is 125, and with 4 destruction characters, each of them have 25% chance of being hit. But after you use your Clara's ulti, it will increase her aggro value from 125 to 750, so it will increase your probability of being hit from 25% to 66.7%, and your other team member's chance of being hit will be lowered from 25% to 11.1%. That way you can lower the chance of your Arlan being hit, and thats why you need to use her ulti as soon as you can, ideally just at the start of battle. But thats not all, because her tecnique will also increase her aggro value by 500%, which will make her chance of being hit in first 2 turns 78.6% combined with her ultimate, and your other team will be at 7.13% each. But that can cause some problems, because if your enemies is only hitting Clara, she can die very fast with no shields and healing, so maybe, idk, full tank Clara with Guard set again? But i doubt it will really help her self-sustain, because she acts really slow with her 90 base speed.
