I'm learning a lot, but I wish the synth would be a bit milder in the mix, it can be quite piercing. Tip: the LFO is patched to Mult In by default. Saves a cable.

I have just started using this unit and have already fallen in love with it. It is my first Modular, well not exactly...I tried out the Moog Mother 32, but I did not like it that much so it went back to the retailer. Maybe I was want invested enough into getting the sound that I wanted out of the device, but this Behringer Neutron really sounds great right out of the box! I can’t wait to watch more of these videos to learn some more about what I can do with this thing. Has anybody else had the same experience??

the M32 and Neutron (I have both, got the neutron yesterday) are clearly not the same. Too bad you don't like it (to each their own). I got a bit frustrated with the neutron for the first hour (I'm heavily biased against Behringer), but once I got past the "behringer is not moog" stage, I really enjoyed it. having 2 oscillator really help.

env retrig doesnt work well for me. if i set a high attack then play a 2nd note once it reaches the decay stage even with env retrig turned on.. the attack starts much too quick. it's like it doesn't get reset to zero .. disappointing

Thank you for tutorial. How do you find your Behringer Neutron performs after a while? I'm having the worst ofluck with this thing. It's already the third Neutron, - I returned the first one to the fellow on Reverb, the second one had serious issues too. Now I have the third one and it won't stay in tune. It won't get recognised by my computer despite the fact that I have all the necessary drivers, including one Behringer wants you to download. Often, all of a sudden it mutes the long note even if sustain is turned all the way and, recently, as soon as I plugged in my Behringer Reverb pedal to the "In" port, - the tuning went completely haywire, it started squealing like a sick cat - pitch going all over the place, or, all of a sudden - it would only play the same note regardless of which key is pressed! Before that MIDI notes would get stuck, requiring me to turn it off and on. This issue didn't go away even after Factory Reset, which luckily for me, fixed the pitch squealing, but now I'm afraid to plug anything into it including patch cables... And it's not as if I am a complete novice to synths, I know the basics and own a number of other mono synths and a poly synth. From what I read - the switches inside the patch point jacks are very finicky and vulnerable to breaking so I'm wondering just how many people are having similar issues with this thing.

I don´t have any issues. Never had any. No problems at all. Sorry for you. Once I had a washing machine. It always broke. Nobody has ever found the problems. I called it "Monday machine", because it seemed to be made on a Monday morning, when nobody wants to work properly.

I don't get it. at the beginning of the video you have osc2 at same frequency in 8", 16", 32", it should clearly not be the case. And actually, when you go from 32 to 8 before going full range, the frequency change. wth ? a bug or something ?

How many Parts are in this Neutron series?

Hello Antony! There are only these 2 parts in the series so far. I make my living from what you see here (and on my website dev.rofilm-media.net). This means that what I produce depends on how the public reacts to my productions. If a video, a book, a sample pack etc. brings sufficient response I continue following the topic (writing another volume about it, or producing the next video about the matter etc.). If not, I continue with one of my other series dealing with different topics. There are a lot of interesting things I´d like to produce videos about or write books about, but I - unfortunately - cannot afford spending , let´s say 80 hours, of production time and getting only poor response. This series here DOES get only poor response. But it may happen, that the Neutron gets its tributes in another series I´m making the concept for. Just visit ma website from time to time. There´s a news block where you´ll find what´s going on on my 3 YT channels, our FB group etc. Enjoy your day! Rolf

But there are not only lessons/tutorials in the members´area.
