I just wish to highlight the last part of the comment, about the kids not knowing. It was literally the same in Naruto. None of them initially knew anything about the past so they just disliked Naruto because their parents did with none of them knowing the "Why" until after they became friends with him. The adults withheld information that they didn't think that the kids should know and history repeated itself here. Oh. And obviously the teachers hold back. The whole point is to test resolve. Remember that Team 7 only passed the bell test with Kakashi because they showed teamwork and resolve. They never even got the bells. This class did the same thing: showed teamwork and resolve. Are they as strong as their parents at the same age? Not exactly, but remember this is a peace time. While Naruto and co weren't in an active war until the end of their series, they were still dealing with threats from other villages. The first episode/chapter had Naruto being tricked into stealing a scroll filled with secret techniques for crying out loud. Abilities aside, this show gets the personalities right for the characters.

It's long been common knowledge that the shadow paralysis technique is incredibly loud thus being easily detected. Kakashi is way more agile than any of the kids and would have been ready to dodge it. The only reason why he got caught was that he was taken by surprise. Furthermore, far worse shinobi have escaped out of Shikamaru's paralysis though strength alone. If we are to assume that Kakashi outclasses most shinobi and that young Shikamaru outclasses Shikadai, the shadow paralysis technique stands no chance.

first of all they are supposed to be genin fresh out of the academy, second of all sasuke was something else and I mean that is a variety of different ways, he had a very unique motivation for his actions.

Tim Dinh this way is better tho, from the war everyone had to learn teamwork in the thousands, and since the beginning team 7 had to show the other teams to value comrades, gaara, neji and others lacked that and needed to be shown that just because you may be the strongest or keenest your team is not just you alone, you can’t have a team of 3 know teamwork the way obito viewed it and the rest having to learn it the hard way, they are setting the new generation to value their comrades all together at the same time so peace can be maintained

Probably because of Naruto's begginings. Boruto never really had a reason to be ridiculed by his peers. He'll be making friends easy.

A bit, a little premature with delivery but my guess is he's does have strong bonds with his friends, and wants to see people succeed. His dad isn't home often and is lonely in his own way so he fills it with being with his friends. He shares the same way of valuing friends as his dad. Even in the original series, Naruto easily made friends and bonds with others who came from other villages and didnt know he has the 9 tails. Their charisma and their values are similar.

He is a prodigy so we can basically use the sasuke analogy on this, though a little toned down

@@chidiibie8749 Kakashi vs Zabuza: 80% still frames talking, 20% action. They literally could've made the fight better if it took half as much episodes as it did. Best part is that there was a flashback to that fight that showed how it SHOULD'VE gone, when Kakashi fakes out Zabuza with a shadowclone and Zabuza fakes him out with a water clone at the same time. In the show? Took like 20 seconds with monologuing. In the flashbacks? a few seconds. This is just an example but BASICALLY THE WHOLE FIGHT IS LIKE THAT. Naruto literally goes on a MULTIPLE MINUTES LONG TANGENT about what he and Sasuke did, while Zabuza and Kakashi are just STANDING THERE LISTENING. Wrap up the fight, and explain it afterwards god dammit.

I think you skipped the ending of naruto shippuden my dude Spoiler alert: Madara steals Kakashi left eye and traveled to the alternate dimension where obito and sakura are. Obito wanted his right eye destroyed before Madara stole it. Long story short madara steals both eyes and sage of six path naruto heals takashi left eye. That's why he doesnt cover it anymore. Cause it's no longer a Sharingan.

It will never match the original, unfortunately. It has very poor writing decisions, especially at the beginning, and _in my opinion_ the characters are bland, uninteresting knock-offs of their parents.

The goal was to get the bell, not touch them. So, they never "won" to begin with. Also, Kakashi straight up says afterwards that they were never going to get the bells anyways. The whole point of the fight was to test them on their teamwork. So, yeah, Kakashi didn't lose to a bunch of 12 year-olds...

@@Eorzat I know it's supposed to be impossible to get the bell and test teamwork. I think The Sannin (Specifically Only Orochimaru and Tsunade) were ever shown to be able to get a bell first try. Goes to show how genius they were considered to be. Kakashi did come extremely close, but he didn't use team work.

@@luckylunayre7918 I don't recall ever reading anything about that. Their teacher was Hiruzen who was a greater genius than any of the sannin ever became, so, it's hard to believe that he would actually lose the bell.

The whole point was to learn a lesson from Kakashi, not to actually beat him in a shinobi fight to take the bell. He could easily take them all on.

Kakashi wouldn't even be able to run away. Sakura alone would be enough to give him a difficult fight. Sasuke would probably teleport the bell away with his Rinnegan and Naruto would win just as quickly.

Not at first.... boruto and a few other fought alone for most of the time. Also it’s an entire class not just 3 people, a lot easier to work as a team when there is 25 of you instead of when there is 3 of you

So....no different from Team 7. Sasuke was the most talented of the group, but refused to be a team player. Naruto had the strongest Tailed Beast and kept rushing headfirst into battle without thinking and Sakura was the load who spent more time fawning over Sasuke than keeping her team together Pretty amusing to say these kids are too immature when they were far more willing to coordinate and cooperate with each other than his own genin team.
