The shazam entry is in reference to grandpa max, who references many elements of shazam's design in his own, most notable in posing, the lightning bolt drawn with his collar and his colour composition. As far as I remember the artists themselves have confirmed that max's design was at least inspired by old shazam.
"Celestialsapiens cause retcons" isn't it more likely about the fact that Celestialsapien are reasons why retcons happen? They change artstyle, and also universe itself and that causes retcons in universe
I had a similar thought, well, give or take the fact I also thought of them just straight betting with each other on what would transpire if they did the retcons.
I hate Celestialsapiens purely because it gives fans an excuse to explain errors. Please, they are just errors, and none of them are that bad. An art style change doesn't mean super aliens changed the world.
Ya know, the reboot has grown on me a lot since its release. At first I thought it was bad & lazy, but recently after watching every episode, its pretty clear how much love & attention goes into it. Its got great characters, mostly RB kevin & Phil, there's character development, especially with kevin, it has funny and deep/dark moments, the Enhancements are the actually good versions of the Ultimate aliens, the arcs & plot of the show are enjoyable, tons of amazing OG continuity references for the fans, etc. Its not amazing & has flaws obviously, but its damn enjoyable & fun to watch.
It’s mainly the art style that puts me off, I’m under no impression the show is bad, I think in some ways it probably makes improvements on the original series, but I’ve never been a fan of simplified art styles personally
@@reecejohnston9817 its really the animation, it can be hit or miss. Sometimes the artstyle looks good on four arms and sometimes it looks terrible. While i dont like it i wont say its bad, im just not its target audience
The reboot is all about the characters, even the one-offs are handled with care. I couldn't get into the Ben 10 franchise because I didn't care about the characters from the 2005 series. They were just too unpleasant and uninteresting for me to invest in. I forgot why I decided to check out the reboot, but I'm sooo glad I did. I watched the entire thing and had fun doing so.
Hi there! I'm actually the gal that owns "Ben 10 Lost and Found" (@12:34), thanks for featuring the blog a bit in your video! As a sidenote, the "Destroy Build Destroy Kevin's Car" thing, it wasn't a reference to how Kevin's car in the show gets destroyed often, it was a reference to the episode of a live-action CN show called "Destroy Build Destroy", hosted by Andrew W.K., where they made an episode pitting the Main Trio from Alien Swarm, against the Main Trio from *another* CN live-action show called "Dude, What Would Happen".
@@agentofchaos145 that doesn't exclude what he said and it has been considered good since season 1 (I be it the finally but it's still season 1) and even the official way decent to great shows are determined supports that. As in actual facts and not opinions blinded by nostalgia.
Cool video! I learned about some stuff here that I never knew like Siavash's 3d movie! I also played probably all of those flash games, even the bootleg ones. By the way, Mor'Otesi (correctly spelled as Morötesi) means "Ultraviolet" in Turkish.
4:42 Grandpa Max resembles Shazam. 13:38 “Destroy Build Destroy” was a live action Cartoon Network show. I saw the episode where they destroyed Kevin’s car. Not their best.
It’s crazy they did a crossover with Secret Saturdays cause that show ended years before they did it also I don’t think it was ever even that popular I think I was the only kid in my class that watched it back in the day lol
I’m making fiction stories and in one episode with the help of other celestialsapians Ben resurrects his old universe and merges it with the copy universe
Cool video but Ben 10 franchise has enough trivia to expand the iceberg a lot more. For example :Cannonbolt's species home planet was destroyed by the snail resembling earth sucking parasite which Ben defeated as Cannonbolt when he was 10. Or that Charmcaster literally killed Ben, Gwen and Kevin to return her father back to life, in UAF. Show has so much potential for icebergs like this as the show has a really big universe. Just a fan, I like your video
10:25 Actually, there ARE still plans for a Gwen spinoff in the form of an anime. It was only confirmed to be in the works 2 weeks after this video was posted, so no fault on your end or the iceberg creator for not having that on their, but I thought it'd be neat to mention. There's an audio recording, I believe an interview at a convention with a member of Man of Action, and the guy mentions that they're working with an anime studio to produce a Gwen spinoff following her and Kevin at college. The post claims that it was cancelled, but the audio doesn't say that as the guy says "As a matter of fact, we're working with..." which means they were, at the time of this audio recording, actively in talks with whatever studio to make this a reality. One of the reasons why this is being done with an anime studio is because of Gwen's popularity in Asia. I have no idea if this did get silently cancelled, or if they're still working on it, but I REALLY hope it's still being worked on.
Alien force Gwen did look similar but she still still different with her longer hair, rounder normal eyes, small chin, thinner eyebrows but in ultimate alien they got so lazy that they literally didn’t animate to have that feature in alien force and had her jaw, eyebrows, eyes to look the same as Ben. Like at least give her some eyeliner to make her difference from Ben or kept her cat eyes in the original series
Thriller Whale is the only alien to reference a piece of popular music like a JoJo Stand... I know there'd be lawsuits up the ass but imagine if _every_ alien did that (i.e, Jetray would instead be named "Sting", like the lead singer of the band The Police.)
It was revealed in an alien force episode that it is 1,000,903 not 1,000,093 genetic samples available as per stated Word for Word by the Omnitrix itsself when azmuth unlocked master control for Ben
13:36 destory build destroy was a cartoon network show. when alien swarm first aired i remember the show airing ether right before or after the movie...doing a quick youtube search i found a promo for an episode involving the cast of alien swarm
11:30 These powers are seen in the Cartoon Network Action Packs and IDW comics. He uses Wildmutt's quill attack on this barber with a sharp claw named Luigi, and Xlr8's static shock power is seen when Grampa Max is giving a briefing on Xlr8's Species though we don't see Ben use it in battle. Fun Fact: Ripjaws has an ability from these comic's too, where he can shoot water from his forehead like a whale. But he only does this once to put out a fire at a theme park.
Icebergs are the new thing man. Lol They didn't stop being popular last year. If anything, that's when they started blowing up and getting people hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
I bet the three more live action movies that are sequels to the original to live action movies. And the other one is just an adaptation on the big screen that supposed to adapt season one and then the season one
The actors of the alien force movie participated in the destroy build destroy tv show in which they destroyed Kevin’s car (probably without knowing that it is a recurring joke)
My hot take is Ben not using 10 aliens per arc or episode or anything. I remeber Azmuth saying that the aliens were set in sections of 10, but Ben didn't really do anything else on that at the omniverse Era.
This Ice berg is missing one thing in Arabic speaking countries there was a ben 10 themed competition show where a contestants answer ben 10 trivia and do some physical activities themed around a single alien and the winners get Ben 10 merch I used to love it as a kid
aggregor had to absorb the baby celestialsapien instead of literally any other one he could see in the forge of creation because they dont have the same decision making roadblock that grown ones do (which was why alien x was not the most powerful alien practically)
