@@Edc_vaporblasting OK I’m gonna try and explain the best I can. Here I go. So the blade does not really have a flat side to it so I actually use the flat of the blade to level out to the edge. So each time I had to switch to each side of the blade I had to flatten it out on the flat side of the edge being that such a thin edge I had to be very careful that it wouldn’t come out of the vice of the lanskey. To repair the chipped blade I already have a video on that it was a Schrade Primos video just go back in my videos you’ll find it. When it came to getting my bevel right are used a diamond stone this did a lot of hard work then I just graduated up to finer stones and then at the very end I put a micro bevel on the backside of the blade since it was a chisel ground knife. Are used my Spyderco ultrafine stone to do this. When it came to shaping the tip I was very very careful not to roll over it that would’ve destroyed the point. Has this helped you?
@@markcoffman494 Yeah thank you. I found a infidel for sale for 160$ the owner took a scotch bright pad to the black coated blade (looks like crap idk why, didnt even take the blade out and do it all.) But anyway I plan on taking it apart and stripping all the paint/ cerakote off and recerakoting everything. I actually own a lansky and it seems like you get a shallower angle than what it says but you did a great job. I think after cerakote ill send it to someone to get re sharpened and put a mirror end on it just to look cool :)
