I love the detail.... When I was looking for information on why Snail Mucin was so good for your skin & why, I found almost a commercial feel to the answer why. It seemed most "Dermatologist or Doctors" on here were sponsored by certain products. So I thank you for going into depth about this and to helping us all make a more informative decision when deciding what products to choose.
I love snail mucin for when my skin is irritated/barrier is compromised. This happens a lot in the winter or when I get my face wax and it totally saved my skin and makes it heal faster.
Cosrx’s product helped with my redness but I didn’t find it hydrating until we got some really hot humid weather two weeks ago and my skin felt amazing. Now that it’s back to rain I find it’s a bit drying even under Vaseline.
@@DoctorAnne Not great to be honest and I make sure to use them on damp skin. Right now I’m waiting on a moisturiser to pair it with. I have mild seb derm on my face so finding a good safe moisturiser is hard. I bought the Geek and Gorgeous Hydration Station so I will see how that turns out!
@@davidlastewart6183 I really enjoy that one and have heard from other people (mostly men) that don't like most moisturizers that they are really happy with it, so fingers crossed. I'd love to hear your thoughts when you have tried it.
@@DoctorAnne I’ve been using it the last week and I think it’s the best moisturiser I’ve used so far! Extremely happy with how moisturising it is! That was really my only issue left was finding a good moisturiser :)
While I believe snails can be beneficial, I would not buy it because it's not vegan personally. I love that you mentioned a vegan option such as Vegreen
I seen this product that mentioned Mizon snail 🐌 extract ? is it the same as regular mucin or do ya think it's just a brand or different type of snail 🤔
