For a bit of it I think it was real but when I see Papa Bear drinking a beer and the ending with the US having a naxi symbol and the big picture of kanye west of the confederate state, I realize that this is not real.

Unironically a perfect parody, it captures the spirit of the original while loving taking the piss out of the original. Also its extremely funny and dark without being tryhard
I'm slightly embarrassed to admit this, but it took the line "The Dinkebrg Dogs get a Colonoscopy" for me to grasp that this wasn't an actual Berenstain Bears book... x3 OR PERHAPS IT WAS AND I'M REMEMBERING IT FROM A DIFFERENT DIMENSION WOOOOoooOOOOoooooOOOOoooh
The ending was like the episode of Treehouse of Horror where Homer thinks he's finally in a normal timeline and than the whole family starts eating like frogs. This whole thing was amazing and awesome.
This book is genius. While I never believed in Curious George having a tail (due to watching the 2000s show as a kid), the cursive-writing and being mixed up on common understandings makes sense. Sometimes, these "Mandelas" are a result of how some add names to quotes to make the reference more clear. So "No, I am your father" seems unclear, but adding the "Luke" makes it more clearly a Star Wars reference. Mr. Dink from Doug's catchphrase often has a "Doug" added to it because he's often addressing Doug. The "bigger boat" is mistaken as a group thing because it's a group hunt. "Mirror Mirror" is more catchy, and the focus is more on the mirror than the magic of it.
"luke-i-am-your-father"s are their own category of thing really, it's not a mysterious mistake lots of people made, it's a comedy routine lots of people remember. Usually you can trace it to a particular performer or tv show that quoted it that way, because like you said, the quote works better that way. Paraphrased. Hang on though, Dink always called him Douglas. With that wonderful slight lateral lisp of his. God that was a good show. The world needs a cartoon right now where everybody and nobody is every race and no race, so they can shut the hell up and let anyone voice them who fits the characters.
It's no wonder people would remember "Mirror Mirror on the wall" as that's literally the quote from the actual fairytale(the German original always says "Mirror" twice, as do all three German dubs of this movie), Disney just changed it to "Magic Mirror on the wall" when adapting the story for whatever reason. Literally all you have to do is encounter any other version of this extremely popular story and relate it back to the Disney version as that's the most memorable one for this "Mandela effect" to happen to you.
I hate that I live in a universe where a compitant, hilarious, talented and hard working youtuber like this doesn't even have half the viewership of a youtuber that sits on their ass and react to shit or reviews a baby toy
Honestly, I had really thought times had just changed until Papa Bear grabbed a 'bear beer' and muttered under his breath about Jane. That was when I thought to check the comments, else I'd have been gaslit asf.
Yknow, I just realized that “Stein” is in the end of surnames that are from places like Germany (such as Einstein), so the ending of the book may explain why it’s “Berenstein” instead of “Berenstain”
I like how subtly scary this book gets as it goes on... Also, did anyone notice that the word "Berenstain" was misspelled as "Berenstein" multiple times throughout the video?

This very video is why Harry should be way above 52k subs. He's put more effort and dedication into this than most creators above a million subscriberswould for a single video.
I think we travelled to another universe in the ending where the confederates (sorry americans) won the american civil war and Germany won world war two but the holocaust did not happen.
i remember this video being titled “the berenstain bears discover the mandela effect”, and i can’t tell if harry changed the title for clarity’s sake or to create a mandela effect in and of itself
A meta marvel. I think the reason the Berenstain one happens is because we tend to get these books at about the year we start learning stuff like.. what names usually are. Y'know, Jewish names. The rest of those all tend to be thing people all heard about as kids too, while still learning to spell. As for other good books, might I recommend Clifford the Big Red Dog Goes to the Big Expensive Veterinarian Uhhh is that fella... Prince Charles? Only now I guess he's King? Yeah, it's Prince King.

I had to do a double check when I saw the logo; I clearly remembered it being “Berestain Bears,” not “Berestein Bears.” I love the small details like those.
Why did I think that this was a real book until they started reading that website. Also we need a part 2 where you read to us “The berenstein bears and Mama’s only fans” sounds like a nice book
How much did it cost to print and make the book with (I assume) high quality material? Or the Harry Gold Show has now expanded it's talents to arts and crafts? Either way, another incredible piece on content. The fact that you keep THIS quality in all your videos is absolutely insane.
The real question is, would it be cheaper these days to just make the digital art, apply it as a texture to a 3D model of a book, then light it realistically using advanced shaders that modern computers can actually run as long as you don't need too many frames? Which you wouldn't, if you did this Reading Rainbow style. But all them hand-turned pages...
The fact that something this well realised has had such relatively low views is criminal. I wish I lived in the universe where RU-vid's algorithm wasn't garbage.
The weirdest Mandela effect thing for me is still the fruit of the loom cornucopia. Its obviously not a parallel universe thing, but it's really uncanny to look at the actual fruit of the loom logo and then the version with the cornucopia. The fact people have some elaborate specific anecdote regarding the cornucopia is also eerie as hell.
Yes! My favourite show is back! I can't even imagine the time that was put into creating this one, but the result was amazing and well worth the wait for the episode. Also, I'm thrilled to see how many more views, comments, and subscribers the channel has gotten so quickly.
That caricature is none other than the sitting monarch of Gibraltar I think his name is C.P.A.G. Windsor. Either way, glorious video. I somehow knew exactly what the twist would be whilst at the same time not expecting it at all. Well done! And your illustrations are beautiful as well.

Dear lord this was HILARIOUS. Your ability to replicate art styles is uncanny, and the huge left turn that the book took at the end had me laughing. As for the portrait, King Tampon-- er, King Charles III.
I like how about a third of the way through the video it starts turning into a creepypasta but then mama immediately puts an end to it. Very true to the original books honestly.

Excellent production, and 😂 as hell. I understand the rational reasoning for 98% of this "Mandela effect" phenom. I've experienced a few of these memory mistakes, but I do remember as a junior high student of a predominantly black school, people going ape shit when he was released from prison. I distinctly heard my father, mother, uncle, and grandparents exclaim surprise and bewilderment that he was alive because he was supposedly killed or died in prison. I'd never heard of him until that day, but my school and community treated it as the second coming of MLK. I can say, without a shadow of doubt, that's what the majority of black people, back then in my area(rural SC) back then thought. My uncle, by the way, had been practicing Law for 7 years in Philly at that time, was the most vocal about it.
Absolutely amazing. The effort you put into your stuff is always inspiring, but a whole book? Awesome. The caricature was of course our own glorious Chancellor here in the UK, Charles III. May he and his long-term, beloved wife Diana reign long. I'm sure they'd have made a great King and Queen if the Fuhrer didn't dissolve the monarchy when he won the war.
