Go for it! Look at the going rate for tire changes with rims (saying your in a place they do winter tires) and it quickly adds up and you link it into a service so they get their entire vehicle done at the same time making it twice a year you will have more business than you will know what to do with. That $1500 will pay for itself really quick and its not that scary. Everyone driving should know how to change tires and quickjack makes it so much easier than that. I wish i had space for a set myself as that is the only thing stopping me from getting one
I had always heard of "QuickJack" but really didn't know anything about them. My business partner and I keep talking about getting lifts...but it's just been talk. The price point has seemed so high that I never really looked into them. But for sure...this seems like a no brainer. We really need to budget for one in the shop. It seems like it would "up" quality for my paint correction but honestly...I just think it would be better for efficiency and wear and tear on the body
Absolutely and thats why i mentioned tire changes as it can be an add on service but a lift is not only expensive but stationary which has lots of added costs whether you go in ground or a 2 or 4 post while the quick jack is able to go where ever should you change shops (or want to borrow it 🤫 for work on your own personal car out side of work hours)
I know it can be a bit of cost to absorb at once but it can be something you put aside some extra cash and have it on a wish list (who knows santa may bring you one)
@@michaelkenney2845 Yes it works very well. I have a C7 Vette with the full side skirts on it. Slides underneath no problem with the supplied blocks. But you still need the jacking pucks like any other time a you would be lifting a Corvette. They also have different accessory blocks for different jacking points on a verity of cars and trucks. I got them all. So that jack can be used on all the vehicles I service.
Yeah I emailed them too...no response.. I wonder if they are just too busy? Maybe that's a sign...you want customer service if you pull the trigger, at least I do
@@HawkProDetailing I want to but if I can't get customer service even prior to a sale I can imagine what it would be after. Customer service goes along ways with me personally. I'll always spend a little more if the company seems interested.
Yep I feel the same way. I emailed them to say I had published the video and wanted to get their feedback...and radio silence lol. So maybe they are just too good for us little guys 🤷♂️
No that day my man. The booth was slammed and he had like 3 potential customers waiting for us to finish. Lol I wasn't kidding when I said I kinda begged him to make time for me...SEMA was interesting for sure
@@HawkProDetailing one thing I don't have is a lift since I do Detailing as a side job and that equipment is something great to have but since I work with a lower budget all I do is use a normal jack. Instead of a creeper I use my volleyball kneepads and has helped me better than purchasing more and more devices. Maybe will invest on things like that but my volleyball kneepads have been more reliable so far for years since don't have to take them off until completely finished with the paint enhancement or paint correction 😉😄
