I remember years ago watching your videos. I couldn’t afford food all my money went to paying bills but I made too much to get food stamps so I would starve. For some reason watching you cook got me through it. My hunger pains didn’t feel so bad. I moved to a state where the cos of living was way lower and stopped watching your videos cause I had food. Even gained 60lbs now on a diet watching to get through lol. You are my coping mechanism to my toxic relationship with food. This is therapy.
The belly of a dungeness crab is definitely the best part😋 I live in Washington and went crabbing for the fist time last year. We only caught 3 crab that we could keep. We kept them in an ice bath and I killed them quickly and the most humane way I could and then boiled them right away. Omg it was the most delicious thing I've ever eaten! I didn't even want butter or lemon! I've never seen them prepped this way so I'll try it next time!
One of the greatest things about where I live is I can go to my front yard (which is a beach) and during the right time of year just grab a few Dungeness crabs then process and cook them up. It's one of the best things ever! Edit: now I got to try this recipy.
I am also but I still eat it here and there just not too much though and I have EpiPen and benedryl should always carry it with you benedryl helps the flare ups and itchy but if it's one thats more severe EpiPen will help with that too just in case 🙌I don't eat fish of any kind and dungeoness crab severely allergic snow crab and king crabs legs are okay no shrimp crawdads lobsters dungeoness crabs mushrooms too any of those and flare ups will start on my chest and go up withing seconds 😭😭😭😭😭I hate being allergic to good food so I feel your pain too 🥺
Girl you ought to try the imitation crab and lobster. There’s also imitation shrimp. They’re not the same but certainly satisfy my cravings. Maybe Quang can show us how to prepare some dishes.
