This is amazing because its so compact,cheap and so simple other tutorials of 4x4 piston doors are so hard to build

Just built this in my map and it worked great. In the middle of the project I set off one of the observers off accidentally and it screwed everything up. Then I finished and ran it, found out I was missing a block for a second piston extender power. All good now! Can’t believe you guys can figure this all out it’s so complex!

I made this in a new world I’m making, I integrated it into a ocean cliff so that the 1 block is submerged in water allowing it to be a boat entrance, also used a day/night sensor to keep unwanted mobs out

I can build it without looking the tutorial again sooo easy you earned a subscriber

built this mug 3 times. Sometimes it doesn't work for seemingly no reason. The only reason I can come up with is I must have built some of them on a chuck border. The only remedy I found is try to flip the redstone block to the other side. It might work then. If it's still having issues, try to rebuild it entirely. For some unknown reason just rebuilding the thing worked for me twice. I think bugrock is to blame for its on and off consistency, the design is great!

I build it but it the 2 blocks on the bottom middle didn't move and after I activated it again it just broke

Something keeps going wrong . I’ve tried 4 times copying what you did exactly and there’s always a block left in the middle or something sticking out the side

for some reason two if the block on the left wont retract well opening

i dont understand, every time i do a build the door is messed up just a lil and i cant get it to work....

Can you make a troubleshooting video for this build? The first one I did went great, but I'm trying to make a second one and I'm still ending up with blocks in the middle. I've completely torn down and rebuilt it twice while watching the tutorial and copying as exactly as I can, but I'm obviously missing something.

I tried to put a button and it ruined everything it was probably like 4 dusts long to the button but now the top side sticky pistons are stuck extended and the left top normal piston is also stuck extended (I put the redstone block on the right) do I have to rebuild and where do I put my buttons?

Thanks but one of the pistons doesn’t pull back a block so it didn’t fully work i think it was a fault on my part thanks tho

when i desighned the door i tried to Flick the lever it work on the Down part onky

why when i put redstone in a row it doesnt face the pistons it just goes in line and i couldnt make them all face the pistons what do i do??

Works fine till I try and put the lever in a different location by extending the signal. Like literally the second u add a repeater to extend the lever signal it breaks (edit2) yep I got no idea literally just tested it with a lever worked fine then I placed a torch to power it and that broke it… This thing is too touchy

You’re build has worked twice for me out of 5 times but after 20 minutes of use it messes up

Ther is on to height limit but it takes one day irl

Help, I was doing well up until around 4:18 when one of my sticky pistons is permenantly pushed out. I broke and rebuilt it and it won't help

So I made this design in my world and it worked great! However I needed to replace the blocks I used where redstone dust was connected to the top sticky pistons. I replaced it and now the door is broken. Any fixes or do I have do another hour of work...

It works you just can’t extend the red stone I wouldn’t recommend for survival

I fucked up and pressed the lever twice too fast. It’s not working and hoping this happened to someone else and they can help me out. Not wanting to redo everything again

I made a world building piston doors and I got the 4x4 first try but it was facing the wrong way😂 and I to make a new one and I failed and gave up and made it the wrong way any way

I made a headless piston with this😂

On mine, followed it 2 times piece by piece, the middle top piston is pulled by the lower top piston on both sides. The effect is it never opens all the way, or closes all the way. I’m unsure what’s causing it. It’s not your “ build “ cause I literally have triple checked it.

Not to say its a designer fault. Its engineered for a lever input but getting this thing out of wack is like untangling speghetti

Spent 6 hours rebuilt this 3 times on bedrock realms. It doesnt work now if it did a month ago. I dont know. Im an experienced player and fiddled with this but seems as though the doubble pistons dont even work. I rewatched your video.. i tried giving this door hope. But alas no door.
