I'm in my 50s and I can't believe how many people still don't know about ACDC and other classic bands I grew up listening to.. It is funny seeing people's reactions to proper old school music..
I've got probably about 10 years on ya and it's funny...I never cared for a lot of these classic groups back in the day. Weird to "discover" them in my 50's and 60's. Haha
I'm an Australian and we had the pleasure of AC/DC well before the rest of the world. I am now 62 and still love watching how much you Americans love one of "Our National Treasures"
I'm about the same. I saw them on the hells bells tour in the bay area when I was around 18. The baddest part was probably the opening where they had that huge gong ringing before hells bells, and the electricity was awesome! Angus never stopped body banging (he didn't just head bang) throughout the entire hour long set. This was back before social distancing was much of a thing.
Bob Dillashaw my family have known them from the very beginnings being from Australia. My dads neighbours saw them with Bon Scott twice, my uncle could have gone in 1979 but my grandparents didn’t let him, I think we will never recover from that.
Same year for me I had just finished boot camp in the Army and on leave and at a house party someone put on Back in Black and it was the first album I heard where I loved every song....and they have stayed consistent ,when you went to see them or listen to a new album you knew they wouldnt throw in a ballad or something weak ,strong all the way.

I got into AC/DC back in like 77-78 when BOn Scott sang. I honestly liked him better as the lead man and after he died I had a real hard time with the new dude. He grew into the part eventually and owns it well. TNT always a Bon song tho as many are. Dig back guys!

Great reaction! That looks like it was the River Plate Stadium concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2009. It was filmed over a three night period, each night was sold out. River Plate's seating capacity is 61,321 people and its concert capacity is around 200,000 people.
AC/DC one of the greatest rock bands of all time. 100's of millions of records sold over many decades. It's really good to see you guys enjoying their music and getting that vibe that I've gotten from them since the 1980's. Keep up the great reactions.

Watched this again. Priceless the look on your faces when they do the chorus for the first time !!!! They start by everyone saying, "Oi, Oi....), in Australia, "Oi" is like saying "Hey!" Also used when you need to get someone's attention. A little crass and direct but works in an emergency.

You 'have' to understand, that this is a Bon Scott song, and you 'need' to hear that version, it's the authentic, 'real' version. Understand too, that at this point Brian Johnson's voice was really kinda shot, like even more raspy than in his earlier days, so in this version you'r not getting the 'full effect'.(Actually, this version is kinda flat) (And this is coming from a person who likes Bon Scott and Brian Johnson equally, not a Bon Scott 'purist' cuz i find those comments annoying) Brian was the perfect replacement, and Back In Black was the perfect album for him, and the band's comeback, after Scott's untimely demise. Their following album "Flick of the Switch" was also 'very' good (as well as subsequent songs like Hell's Bells, Evil Walks, Let's Get it Up, Thunderstruck, Razor's Edge, etc, etc.. AC/DC rocked 75k people at the 1st of 3 concerts, over 3 days at the River Plate. Every concert was sold out. Your gonna love any song you hear from these guys. Some notables, "If you want blood"(you got it). "Gonna walk all over you". "Highway to Hell". The original singer was Bon Scott, he died in Feb, 1980. Then they brought in Brian Johnson. Their 1980 album "Back in Black" was a tribute to Bon Scott..

Been listenin to AC/DC since I first heard Highway To Hell, in my Dad's El Camino. My favorite concert and event, other than my kids being born, was seeing AC/DC live. Angus is a beast! He never stopped moving the whole show.
Your personalities shined in this video. Smiling is infectious. ACDC got criticized by the old school rockers but they didnt go to their shows and enjoy it.

I've got a friend who's traveled to see this band all over the world, and she says the crowds really do stay in motion. Another good video that shows crowd movements is Shoot to Thrill (Iron Man movie version).

A classic 'all aussie concert' with AC/DC, Midnight Oil, INXS and The Angels all on the same bill would have blown you guys away...they all cut their teeth playing pubs in the 1970's and we were ruthless if bands were useless...they were all awesome live...total energy.. good for raging !!!
1) The volume level is perfect when the neighbors complain. 2) Bon Scott can never be forgotten, but Brian Johnson has earned his share of respect, so all the haters comments suck. 3) To all the haters, shut up and rock!

I dusted the cobwebs off some stuff from my childhood - AC/DC and Led Zeppelin recently, and it's like I'm hearing it for the first time. There is so much subtlety going on - you can hear the talent, the hard work, the imagination. The layers and waves interweaving, like painting or tapestry, living and being created before your eyes - you can almost SEE the music... AC/DC esp. Bon Scott era, is genius. Angus Young, Jimmy Page... take you places! The drums beating up your heartbeat... They carry you on their electric notes up through the lightning into the skies.

Awesome guys, probably the best band I've seen live ever, been a fan since I was 12 years old I'm 48 now and still listen to them every day, and love watching your reaction it's hard not to get pumped listening to ac/dc, you should see for those about to rock it's a super song
there's what? in the multiple shots of the massive crowd on ground level, ALL jumping- now that's enthusiasm. Not to many bands in history can get this type of response.
