Thanks for the information on the PhD process. I’m in the beginning stages of starting mine and I’m feeling excited and nervous but I hope to be able to move into a full time professor role when I’m completed. Would love to hear more of your thoughts jn a longer video!
Great video. I feel conflicted as a coach in that this field is necesssry yet not valued enough as a profession to give the practitioner (trainers/strength coaches) the ability to do the job and make a living wage. I switched my degree out of ex/sci specifically for this reason so I can get a better job while potentially continuing to coach part time. Not sure if this is the best answer going forward but we’ll see.
Watch your CSCS videos. Got it. Read the textbook. Great. Now if you were to recommend a study program or course, do you know what you would recommend?
can i get a a NASM CPT and still get a NSCA CSCS after I earn my BA? Or would you recommend get a NASC CPT? my goal is to work with athletes but I want to gain some experience as a cpt first.
