Sometimes, I think to myself what am I even doing with my life. Why am I here, instead of where I want to be. It's so hard to notice the good changes in your life. A bird's eye view helps with that. I remember the feeling I got when I made some good money in January 2020 at 18 years old. It made me feel like I was on top of the world. Last month I made 7 and half times that amount. It's very easy to get lost in thoughts and feel like giving up, but taking a look back at my journey, where I started and where I wanted to be, reminds me of how far I've come. You may have achieved the goals you set for yourself years ago and now worry about reaching new ones. However, it's important to remember that where you are now was once a distant dream. At least that's been my experience so far. Thank you, Jose, for being like family.

Jose, thank you. I am older, yet I still find your content informative, educational, entertaining among other things. This video IMHO is probably the one people need the most. Being older, I'm a little behind on the self awareness journey but I'd rather start late then not start at all. Just because someone is younger does not mean you can't learn from them. Obviously it works the other way around as well. Stay strong stay hard stay up everyone. Life is hard af so you gotta be harder or it will just eat you up. For a time I was being eaten up and over two years ago I decided I was done with letting that happen. Now I have over 2 years of sobriety, have some money, great friends and family. I am not a loser but I feel I haven't won everything I want yet but I will. Thanks to people like Jose, other content creators and some others only I know, I have been able to grow myself into a better version on myself.

He's right I've gotten addicted to self improvement videos, everytime i feel down i watch them to make me feel better watch tons of it then feel more down because i sat all day watching videos without doing any action

I see improvement but i feel like i can acheive more, I just turned 16 and everyone around me says I'm doing good but I don't feel like its enough. To wait for the day that Jose writes a book or creates a documentary would be worth the wait and I would buy it in a heartbeat cause I am curious to know where it all began. The grit, the determination, the drive, the confidence, its something that we all can have but you really have to want it. I have analyzed and implemented his tips from videos and have seen a drastic change in myself physically and mentally. I am nowhere near where I want to be, but I know I am better than where I left off. I was in that loop for a while until I decided to take action and because of this I have found my own purpose and my drive. That part about remembering where you started really hits home. I was in a really dark place during Covid and found myself on academic warning. I was a loser that played video games and didn’t want to put in the work. Since then I’ve climbed back to a 3.0 gpa, joined a club for networking, and even landed an internship this summer. I’m on track to graduate with an engineering degree, and I’m honestly more proud of the journey than the result. Just keep going brothas ✌🏼

I wish this video gets as many views as possible, and for people to watch through all 19m20s. What you said is very important, as though it may sound harsh. I can relate. I'm a 20 years old, I got into one of the widely-regarded 'best' university in my country, I've been going to the gym, I've been watching self-improvement videos for as long as I can remember. I thought I was on a better road than my friends who spend half of their day gaming. Yet I still find myself feeling like a loser. I look at my life and see that half of my day is actually just 'watching' self-help videos. I have very few friends, I've never got a girlfriend in my life. I do think I've got a decent style and I'm attractive in a way bla bla, but I never took the chance to tell a girl I like/love her. Your point about these videos being the drug just like porn is true Jose. MEN MUST TAKE ACTION. Or else, at the end of the day, you will still have that feeling in your stomach just like me. Deep down, you know you're still a loser, still so far off your goal. One good thing I find working positively for me is to simply turn my phone and laptop off. Put on an outfit I'm comfortable in and just step outside. If you wanna study, go to a library or a coffee shop. If you have nothing in your mind, go to the gym or go for a walk. Still much better than sitting home scrolling mindlessly through videos and social media posts. I know this is a long comment, many might think I'm just sad, depressed and have nothing more fun to do at the moment other than writing a comment no one might even read. Honestly, no. I just find this video very very important, the message hits hard and I believe every men should hear it.
