Skyrim modding is hell, but Stardew mobile modding is a whole different breed of hell. I finally got it to work after so many reinstalls (the SMAPI apk just breaks itself if you don't install the app properly, but you'll know you've installed it properly if the game shows a blackscreen cmd console on start up of the game). I'm surprised that a lot of the popular mods work for mobile, albeit some of them are a little buggy (like the item spawner mod, it only shows you one type of item on screen so you have to be specific when you search it). Other mods require you to manually configure the config files, especially the mods that require keybinds.
This is a wonderful collection of mods. I just recently started to mod my Android version, so this is quite the timing ❤ Thank you again for putting out helpful content!
I want to ask something, sorry but English is not my first language. I already installed stardew valley expanded mod, but i want to install redgeside village. Do i need to remove the stardew valley expanded mod and replace it with redgeside village? Or i can just double the mod. Thanks❤
if you watched the video you would know that I do not own an Android, therefore cannot test them, and solely relied on the information on the Nexus Pages for these particular mods. As someone who covers mods this is my MOST requested video. If they are all solely for PC, then how come lots of comments mention them downloading said mods. I admit my mistake that they aren't all android, but again, it is what the Nexus Page says from the actual creators.

@@RACOONAFIED as someone who covers modding content I consistently get asked to cover android. I made this video for those people who has asked. Again, the modding page for these mods states it works for android, whether it be one version or another. I cannot test it, but if the actual Modder has stated it works then I believe them. Lots of people have had no issues so there could be another reason why it isn’t working. I’m sorry if this video didn’t work for you, a large chunk have had no issues and it’s hard to please everyone. But after having constant demands for this video, I decided to make it.
@@kitsugamess oh then it's understandable but you could have asked someone who has an android to install the mods to test them so that people like me would not scream at you :')
@@RACOONAFIED I mean when I make a video I really don’t expect people to yell at me online lmao. Most of everyone around me are android users so it wasn’t really possible to test it out. Make sure to check the nexus link to see what version is needed, lots of people seem to be having luck! 💕
A nice list, but not all of them can be used in an android setting, maybe do actual research and experiment with them yourselves, like fact checking they actually work instead of just making a video for clicks, otherwise just more clickbait for views.
As stated in the video I do not own an android, therefore could not do my own research in that sense. All the mods have been listed/classed as android mods between various versions.
@kitsugamess They have a point though. You don’t have an android to actually showcase the mods. Plus, with the Look Up Anything mod, you mention pressing F1. How?! If someone is playing on mobile, they won't have a keyboard. lol Huge oversight and shows that you really aren't the right person to make content for something you can’t even showcase, haven’t used, and don't actually know how to use it. I know this is months later, but I was debating getting it on my tablet or Retroid Pocket 3+ and wanted to see what mods (if any) were available and actually see how they function. This video did none of that. So yeah, definitely feels like click bait. Hopefully I'll find a video that will be useful. I'm not trying to be mean and hope that your videos have improved since uploading this.
I think the update 1.56 all become not working. Before I can have alots mod thats you mention on my mobile, but now update to 1.56 alot mods not working anymore ☹️
Stardew Valley Expanded and Ridgeside Village do NOT work on android on the latest version There's probably more on the list but since these are the big ones that people are probably here for
Haven't played the game yet I downloaded the multiplayer mod so that I can play with my partner because the mobile version doesn't have the co op feature i was curious on what the stardrew valley modding community has to offer then I came into this video😊
OMG NOOO! Thankyou for letting us know! Just to double check the NPC Map Locations only works with the Android 1.4 release so it may not work if you dont have that version! If you do and its still not working thanks for letting us know so others can see too! The temptaton to buy an android to test them is real 😂
do u guys know why it lags so much? like it takes AGES (+5min) to start new day and save the previous one, i just have the files i need for this mod and two mods more that don’t contains files

this is a great video, but not all mods are works on Android i think you should Research more before making video and title for video. keep up the good work ❤
