The Evolve bag is going to protect your laptop better when you fall & you’ll be seen at night better with the better reflective stripes. Also the Evolve will keep your drink insulated better & it’s cheaper.

FYI on the Slick Revolution bag, the angled strap for securing the board goes under the trucks, to keep the board from slipping from underneath. Noticed it was wrapped around the deck. And I pretty much agree with most of your points on the SR bag.

Good honest review 🤝. I’d be interested to see if you could get your hands on the Bioboards pack. It looks to be a bit beefier than those 2 and could probably take the wider boards like my 2 Kaly.NYC boards.

Should imagine the small Velcro pockets on the side of the SR bag are for the straps that detach. Lowepro camera bags have similar features for the straps to be placed securely when not in use.

Love the always professional reviews guys keep it up!!! As for a possible future suggestion, if possible try and get yours hands on the new Lycaon TRX all terrain board... I just got mine 3 days ago and it is an absolute monster... Closest competitor to evolve boards IMO I would love to see what you guys think of it its one savage board...

I think the Atsa backpack addresses most of your dislikes from both. Only thing it's missing is the customizable compartments but it already has so many compartments should you need it. Might be worth checking out. I also posted a complete review on that own channel.

I also got the slick revolution bag and can confirm how comfortable it is on your back when riding with it. I've ridden with a board on my back as I skate. Double boarding :) Great video. Hmm not a fan of any of those, both ugly af IMO. Also way too big for me personally. I'm looking for a bag not for long travelling but just commute like travelling with a nice and small smart cool looking bag. And to quote a classic; "I still haven't found what I'm looking for."

Evolve’s pack is made very poorly. It’s all single stitch, the first time I used it to carry my GT Carbon, one of the straps ripped from the pack due to it being too heavy while I was just walking around with it. I don’t know, but I would not buy another devolve bag ever again. They’re super cheap.
