I just made this and did additionally add some lemon extract. Omg I really never tasted scones this good. My husband is soooo happy!!! Thank you for this!!!
@@TatyanasEverydayFood I was planning to leave half the batch for later but omg. We went thru them. I wasn’t sure about the lemon but I added a tiny bit and it was marvelous. The dried blueberries I didn’t find so I put dried cranberries. That’s what sold me on your recipe out of millions. I knew it was legit when you used fresh and dried fruit. It takes up a whole notch. Thanks again.
Made these today and doubled the recipe. Prep is not hard! I added zest of 1 lemon to put my touch on the recipe. 😋 My dough was very sticky but I didn't add any extra flour. Will let everyone know how it turned out! Edit: these will rise! Be warned 😂 try and chill overnight or at least 2 hours it will help with transfer to tray. So yummy!!
The lemon will taste fantastic in these! :) You did the right thing, don't add extra flour! This will keep them nice and fluffy once they're backed! Enjoy! :)
OMG.....I'm in blueberry heaven ...I dont ever want to leave ....the only great thing for me is I have and dry some of the biggest blueberries...I know that all hands and fingers are different so to compare my blueberries from a dime size to a nickle,,but the biggest out of the garden 3 yrs ago was as big as a half dollar....miracle grow.....these scones are awesome.....I am so glad I have you for a pro baker cook at my fingertips... did that sound right lol.thank you thank you thank you for making everyone of my parties special..without you I'd still be making peanut butter sandwiches. Subscriber for life.
Those blueberries sounds amazing!! I grew up in Washington state and we always used to go blueberry picking in the summer! :) I'm so glad you're enjoying my recipes! Thank you for your support!
These scones look fabulous!! Must make this recipe this week-end !!! My daughter will love them. Love it so much. Thank you Tatyana. You're the best. Love you.
The scones look awesome! I will make these. Question….do you mind sharing the kind of plastic wrap you use? I ‘hate’ what I buy as it sticks to itself…all…the….time. It becomes a wrestling match and I never win. 😔
They are soo delicious! I hate plastic wrap, too! I have the same issue with most brands! My favorite is the Stretch-Tite brand, they have a box that comes with a built-in cutter. I haven't been able to find it lately so I'm stuck with Reynold's, not impressed with it!
@@TatyanasEverydayFood sooo…after watching your video, I set out to find the best brand. Plastic wrap is a necessary evil….in my opinion and for my kitchen lifestyle. Messaged my favorite foodie friend….and she swears by Press’NSeal (I think it’s one word…like that.) I ordered a 3-pack a bit ago…from amazon…. Trusting her. So, if nothing else….let’s just decide to conquer that wild-and-crazy stuff! 😉 Great channel. I enjoy each and every one.
I use press n seal much more forgiving then cling fiilm.sirta sticky on one side comes with built in cutter Reynolds I use it for everything enve sandwiches.
My all-time favorite blueberry scones recipe! These large and buttery bakery-style scones will win over your taste buds forever! They’re made with double the blueberry flavor - with dried blueberries and fresh blueberries, plus vanilla extract! I love to garnish the tops of these scones with sugar crystals to make them extra special. These berry scones have just the right amount of sweetness, too, with just ¼ cup of sugar for the entire batch! They’re super easy to make so you can enjoy them even on a week day!
Yum looks delicious i am making this soon can i use vegan butter / coconut cream and vegan sour cream as am dairy free i never had blueberry muffins before perfect for my birthday on 19 September and after office snacks love your recipes making me hungry Thanks Ramya
Hi Tatyana. The scones look incredible! By the way, do you have a recipe for someone who is lactose intolerance? Instead of using milk and butter, I use margerine and soy milk for example. Just curious....
Hi! These are my favorite! I don't really specialize in diet-specific recipes but I know there's some great dairy-free butter, yogurt and milks available. I would use a dairy-free butter and dairy-free yogurt in place of the sour cream, along with a dairy-free creamer. I really like macadamia or cashew cream
Actually, leaving in the fridge over night is not a good idea, your baking powder will loose it's rising property, so when you bake the scones the next day they will remain very dense and not rise at all. You can leave the mix in the freezer though
I've done the refrigerator multiple times and they still turned out fantastic. I do that if I have guests over and want a fresh scone in the morning. But, I'll make a note of that!
Those scones looks amazing! Can I add frozen blueberries instead fresh one? Fresh blueberries are not really available where I live😰 If I add frozen one, Should I defrost before I add it or not?
Thank you! Yes, you can use frozen blueberries! I would actually use the frozen ones for this recipe. Once you defrost them, they might get too soft and you won't be able to mix them into the dough. The dough needs to be chilled anyway!
Yeah! I thought as like that! But I thought If I add frozen one, It might be get soggy at refrigerator. Can I chill it at freezer and baked it right away? Btw I love your blueberries recipes so much! I tried couple of them they're all winner so far! Trustful 👍👍
@@ramb113 Hmm, that's a good point! Maybe toss the berries in a bit of cornstarch so the juices don't mess up the dough, then freeze for only 15 to 20 minutes. You don't want them to be frozen solid. The dough needs to chill just until it's slightly set.
