I’m not someone who usually comment things because I watch on my tv, but this time i needed to get my phone and say something… this must be one of my favorite videos from this channel, if not my favorite. Pete sounds so inspired by this guitars and he sounded great all video. I really wanted to be in Lee’s place, because this in the room must have been amazing. Honestly some of the best jams I've heard in a long long time! Both Pete and Captain sound absolutely inspired! Could actually feel the goosebumps Pete was talking about, incredible tones, both clean and fuzzed. This is why I subscribed all those years ago....
Holy crap Pete😱 you can absolutely tell when you are completely inspired by an instrument! You cannot put a price tag on inspiration, freaking epic man. Huge fan!!!
Man. I want a Pete in my life to teach me the ways of the guitar like he’s done for the captain. While Pete is mesmerizing as always, the captain was also stellar.
Pete should do exactly what Ariel Posen did and record a solo album of just him playing alone on a baritone. Captain should buy him that yellow one for the recording. 😉
lee seems to have imroved GREATLY since pete has been in the equation. as someone who has always taken huge inspiration from my talented friends, this makes me smile to see

Amazing guitars, with a price tag to match..! I wish... BUT I'm currently, greatly loving my Surf Green Squier Cabronita Baritone after seeing it on this fine channel.
so glad people are finally seeing the light and realizing what fun extended scale is. sure, i use mine for metal, but they shine in so many applications
Another Baritone that Lee didn't mention is the Reverend Descent. It has a tone control that allows you to roll off bass, a super helpful with the baritone tuning. It's also extremely comfortable to play. I have a Reverend Descent and I chose it after having played about 10-15 new and vintage baritones. It sits at a higher price range than the Squires or Chapman's, but it's a fantastic instrument.
Just walked out from the Alderton's Guildford shop with a Jackson SLA6 baritone yesterday. The crew was amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. With my wife, we had a great time visiting your shop and truly that was an extraordinary experience. A bit downer that the guitar I've purchased was not flawlessly set up, but that is an easy fix. Just wanted to say thank you on this platform too.
Wow I have never been more inspired to explore and check out buying a baritone guitar. Seriously the Castedosa Concher looks and sounds amazing..... this is a guitar craft and innovation at its finest. I loved Pete's and Lee's playing on this video, especially Pete's jazz inspired comping and noodling - In the sounds and words of Jimmy Van Heusen and Eddie DeLange....Darn That Dream .....I'm hooked and fear I cannot escape the baritone!
Back in 1988 I lived in Los Angeles for 3 months. In April I came back to London, circumstances conspired against me and I never got back to LA. That sound brings it all back. So beach/sunshine/California. Every guitarist should have a baritone guitar in their lives
A regular scale length would negate the point of a baritone. The longer length allows you to tune down 4 or 5 steps and still keep string tension acceptable.
@@stuartgreenshields5591 well that's what i am interested in. Guitars that are not Baritones 😂 Also I'm sure he doesn't want to limit his production to Baritone guitars only.
I remember seeing the Press Release about him leaving fender, and then about him starting a company with baritone as his first product. And i thought, "Why?" But, i subsquently found myself interested in baritones-just incidentally, and now this video. Wow, they sound fantastic. That intro thing with Pete and the slide-incredible. Wayyyy way out of the range i'd be willing to spend on a 'niche' instrument, but... i get it now. [Except for the built-in fuzz circuit.]
That was flippin awesome!! I have been eyeing one of the Gretsch baritones for some time now....might just have to go for it now. Wish I could afford one of these though...jeez loueeze!

The necks and Head stock remind me of the Hofner ‘strat - style ‘ 6 string guitars from back in the mid 60’s ( No imitation Crocodile skin on the body though )
Look at their little faces! The reactions show just how good these inspirational tone machines are. You can watch the cogs in Pete's mobile smut machine trying to figure out how to tell "her indoors" that they need to drop 6k on another guitar...
Damn boys. Killer tones and playing. I've been considering diving into the baritone world since the squier double bound telecasters launched, but this might seal the deal. Seems to open up a whole new vibe.
I'm feeling less bummed about not ordering my Carlos VI prior to his departure. Amazing grooves which shall be taking up a large portion of my day today.
Captain Lee, It's getting later in the year. Pete does great work. I suggest Anderton's gives him that Burnt Marshmallow for a Halloween or Christmas bonus.
