I just bought a second hand 2020 Duke 390 a couple of days ago and I am loving it so far. I am 194cm tall and I still feel very comfortable on it. I mainly bought it for commuting but I also had to ride it 3.5 hours on the open road to get it back from where I bought it and it was perfectly happy on the open road. Awesome little bike and so much fun.
I just got mine, and feels so good from the first moment I purchased it. The smell of the brand new bike is sooo addictive I got the feeling that at some point I will sell it to change for a bigger bike... but it is so capable and balanced that I wont rush the change If the evolution of this 390 is good, it will be another KTM... they used to have a lot of complaints before 2017, but from that year on, everyone I read online is really pleased, and shares the same experience as you Glad you enjoyed it so much
Not just newcomers - guys like me who have been riding for fifty years will appreciate the sporty handling, the quality components and the modern technology! ABS, excellent tires, awesome engine, lightweight handling. I feel young again!
Love your videos, Rok, keep it up! I started riding this year and the Duke 390 is my first bike. It’s pure joy! I'm a grumpy guy, but when riding my duke there’s always a big smile behind my helmet's visor.
I really love to ride this duke 390..its so much fun riding bike..and its agile..I feel proud to be 390 owner..its a best bike bike in its segment..even though its single cylinder it wont let you down against 2 cylinders for example r3,ninja 300 or any other 300cc-400cc bike..it dont hav top end so great but initial power its acceleration it's awesome..I'm loving it.. Love from nepal 🇳🇵
For beginner the + point is the short tank when we learned to drive we always sit as close to the handle bars that's make it easier for beginner also make it great for tweasty roads
Please some one give creadit to his hard works every body is roaming towards likes in this comment area. No one is here to admire his works and pick what is good and what not. If some one is in need of likes its him not us if he gets likes he gets motivated to keep doing more new and coom rocking vlogs from which we get to learn a lot...........
Thanks to all of you for the support with your comments, sharing your knowledge, tips how I can make my vlogs better and also questions what you would like to know. All that helps me to create my videos :D RokON my Rokers :D
I've always wanted a motorcycle but never bought one. I just had a major surgery that changed my life and made me decide it's time to live. I just bought a used 390 Duke as my first bike! I can't ride it until this spring but I'm really looking forward to it!
Once I felt really bad, when you did flip and it fell down..but I know you are a really good care taker ❤️ For me duke 390 is my 3rd love and you are the best I have ever seen for KTM bikes. Love and best wishes from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India ❤️❤️
5500km on my 390 now and the only problem was a blown fan fuse on a long cruise in 35+ degrees Celsius summer heat. New fuse and the fan works great and haven't had any other problems. Handles well and its been fun chat6ting my brother around on his 636. I love this little pocket rocket.
Excellent video once again. I can't comment on what makes a great beginners bike, but the KTM heritage shines through with these small Duke and especially the 390. This makes it an excellent bike to challenge the skills of experienced riders where pure power can't hide any lacking in the rider skills but the handling and power delivery allow the 390 to pace much bigger bikes whose weight becomes an issue for technical riding.
nice review!! i'm 173cm tall and i've always been worrying about the seat height. Thx for the reference and i think i should really go and buy the 390 duke!
I've searched for a new bike to buy. Was looking for a bigger cc bike. Then I came across your videos and then I knew I wanted a ktm duke 390. So thanks to you I went out and bought a new 2020 duke 390. I hope I can do some tricks like you one day 🙂
I am 62 years old, and recently bought a Honda XR650L... then my wife started getting interested... so, I started shopping around for a good used bike... however, here in Western Canada, suddenly there are no used bikes around, because of COVID, everybody seems to be buying up the used motorcycles. So I started doing some research into a new bike, and then finally, I bought her a brand new 2020 KTM Duke 390 as her very first motorcycle. She is 60 years old, and very excited. Right now it is sitting in our garage, and only has 12km on the odometer!
Just a suggestion, as your Alloy wheels and Chassis is with Blue and Orange, check if we can apply Blue one side and orange colour either side of DRL's.
Slovenia is such a beautiful country, and its people is so easy going I spent a year there and Ljubljana is a bit boring for an expat on weekends since everyone leaves to nature. It is close to big cities tho (Budapest 5h, Munich 5h, Wien 5h, Zagreb 1.5h...) But watching this video I realize now how amazing it would have been to live there with my duke 390 (which I didnt have back then)
Hi Rok I'm from Bangalore as Nick said I have same issue with my 390 Duke gear shifting issue. Sometimes it will get stuck it's very risky to manage. Kindly give me some suggestions on this. And we expect more upgrading vlog on Duke 390 please.🤘😍❤ RokBagaros expecting ur response heart core fan from India🇮🇳
Duke is the best bike for beginner in my opinion. But they should keep more grip in their tyres otherwise it can slip in the rainy season in the muddy areas and the Himalayan areas of Nepal.
Yes agree, Duke 390 looks to be a great machine. I have a Duke 125 2018 and I am very happy with it. What about the best next bike, maybe I prefer another Duke ? I am hesitating between Duke 790 and the higher-spec Duke 890R. I plan to keep it for a longer time so I thing 890R would be making me happy for a bit more time before I jump to something yet more powerful or different. I am a big guy, 187cm/95kg so a few more HP and adjustable suspension seems a good idea... Any thoughts, suggestions ?
