Hello, friends! Today, I've got this tempting Turkish puff bread recipe that's an absolute must-try. Start by combining 10 ounces (280 grams) of all-purpose or bread flour with 1/2 teaspoon each of baking powder and salt in a bowl, then add in 7 fluid ounces (200 ml) of warm water. After kneading the dough well for 3 to 4 minutes, cover it for 10 minutes, knead a bit more, then cover again for another 10. Melt 2 ounces (60 grams) of unsalted butter. Divide the dough into 4 parts, shape them into balls, and keep the dough covered while you work. Roll out the dough into an oval, super thin, then cut it into strips with a round knife. Brush it with melted butter and create one gorgeous braid. Repeat the process for the rest of the dough. Stretch and fold the dough, then press and stretch it out. Heat a frying pan and cook the bread for about 3 minutes on each side, brushing with leftover melted butter if you have any.
