I am looking for red light therapy Panel that is good for slowing down aging, good for joint pain and muscle pain. Which red light therapy u would recommend me ? my budget is 500$ I live in USA. Thx in advance.
Thank you for taking the time to reply to comments people leave and try to always be helpful with everyone. It's something I've been noticing throughout your videos and it's so sweet. I really admire the dedication and kindness. I appreciate you Alex and all that you do. You're genuine, good hearted and passionate about your work...and it shows. :) Take care, wishing you the very best.
Hey thank you :) I aim to go through my YT comments once a week. It used to take me 30mins... now it takes half a day to get through them all! But the questions and comments are always so good so I like reading them and helping people out. Plus it gives me ideas for future videos etc. Thanks again for your kind words. Have a great day
I've had the MitoPro 300 for about 6 months now and the very happy with it. I almost got the Hooga Pro HG 300 but I'm glad I paid the extra. You really can't gone wrong with the MitoPro its a solid table top red light !
FYI Mitored only gives free shipping to the “lower 48”. Not sure how much shipping is to Alaska but it’s $40 for Hawaii. Hooga gives free shipping to all states. That tipped me over into buying the Hooga even though I think the MitoRed is a little nicer (and I like the white color better). Going to get the Hooga750 which is $539 with code ALEX. It’s $137 more than the MitoRed300 (with Hawaii shipping) but double the LEDs
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was turning crazy reading different articles and information, plus comparing all the diferent red light therapy options. You summed up so well. Thank you again!!!!
I like the way you did this Video . I didn't feel so Overwhelmed. I wish you would have done this with the bigger panels as I am looking for a cost effective larger panel. I have fibromyalgia and sleep difficulties and red light therapy definitely helps. Any Recommendations you can give So I'm not so overwhelmed, I would appreciate
@Elizabeth W. I know but it's worth it. I used to be a member of a place I went to every day after work. I felt so much better. Now the closest place is 1/2 hrs away. Time to invest in myself & buy a panel.
Hey. Yes I'm learning and trying to improve! Expect to see more 'streamlined' reviews coming out this year as well. I will be doing a new comparison series at the end of the year (for the larger panels) and i will be trying to do it in a simpler way. I know a lot of fibromyalgia suffers have had great results with the Novothor bed - and there are published studies showing it's effectiveness. Now this is a $120k device so will most likely be out of your budget! But they use 660nm and 850nm light across the entire body.
I happened to be lucky and randomly came across a used Mito Pro 300 for $50 last year, when I was just starting to research different red light companies/panels. - I obviously scooped it up and have been using it regularly and it works wonderfully (thankfully).
❤ Thanks! This is the video I've been looking for. I suspect a table top panel is a good place to start with red light therapy. You can move it around , on the table or floor, use on different parts of body. Stay tuned .❤ from 🇨🇦
How does any of the Gembared Vectors factor in this comparison? I would also love to see a review on their 810 version? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks 😊
Hey, sorry I don't have one so I can't comment. But looking at the specs I see it's a silent unit (no fan). Zero EMF which is great. The power output is a lot lower than any of these 9 panels - but as it's EMF free you could use this directly on the body.
I wish I would have found your channel sooner I purchased the BESTQOOL 60 and I do enjoy it but I see you don’t do reviews on it but the one on my model about their specks in their manual being completely off from their actual device. One thing mine doesn’t flicker which is really nice but when I purchase a full body panel I will definitely go by your recommendations only..❤❤❤
I see alot of much cheaper options on amazon, can you potentially do a video explaining if these are legit or fake? Cause these options your showcasing are all very expensive and im wondering if your ignoring the other options because they are a scam.
I suspect you will cover this in the beauty video, but how do these tabletop compare to professional LED delivered in media pas, derm offices? They always say home LEDs are less powerful, but they typically refer to Omnilux and other home units. How about the MitoPro, etc. here?
I asked the same thing months ago. He won't do this as he can't get access to a panel. It should be easy enough to make an appointment with a spa, and take along the measuring equipment
Hey. Good question and sorry I didn't cover it in the beauty video (jjust working on the final edit today). But it's a great idea and I'm going to add that to my content idea list. I need to get a bit more experience with the pro machines. In all honesty I'd say the pro machines are similar or even less powered than the panels. The MitoPro is extremely powerful - we may be at the upper limits for power output as well. Especially if you're targeting your face.
Hey yes I'm going to do this. Unfortunatley where I live - rural New Zealand - there aren't any clinics like this around. So I'm going to do some travelling and check some out :)
I so appreciate your videos and I've been looking into several based on your content. Very interested in Hooga Pro 300, I'll be using it for face and neck skin benefits, but I also want to use it on my scalp for hair growth. Will a tabletop model work for this, or do I need a helmet model? How close to the scalp could I use it? Keep on making videos and thanks!
Hey. TBH I don't have much understanding around the hair loss side of things just yet - but I am going to take a deeper dive into this soon. You can try using it on your head - and hopefully I'll have more information to share with you in the coming weeks.
Hi...I have been watching your videos and first, thank you for so much info! WOW! I was wondering if you have ever tested a red light therapy mat? I have seen several and I like the idea of being able to lay down. I currently have a belt and use that in different areas of my body to help with pain. It's pretty good, but thinking how much nicer it would be to get it all done at once. So I have been looking at the panels and the mats and find it all confusing. Would the panel be a better idea, or is the mat just as good but a longer session time? TIA for your response!
Hey! Thanks :) Unfortunately I haven't yet - but should be getting one to test very soon, so I'll be sure to do a video review when I get it. It's hard for me to say how a mat would compare to a panel without having used one. I know for certain that the mat is going to put out less power, but then as it's applied direct to the skin how big of an issue this will be I'm not too sure.
I got a $25 red light off Amazon from I- Thera U and there are other brands of cheaper panels as well, I am really curious if these panels would suffice because there are no videos on them
Hi Alex. Thank you for all your amazing research and videos. The Hooga now comes with a three-year warranty, which makes the decision a little more difficult. I was wondering if these devices are FDA approved or FDA cleared? Thanks!

the first thing i remembered is Alex stating 630 nm and 850 nm was the best for skin problems. The Hooga does 600 nm to ..... and he specifically seemed to state in his other review when he got rid of a lot he had on show was simply because they werent 630 nm? so my question is surely the Hooga one isnt any real use for skin like the 630nm? incidentally i bought a mask for £159 on Amazon with abs. brilliant reviews, but i think now i prefer one to put on my desk, so i think i will send my mask back which was an Oborrio i think? Many thanks to Alex, cant use his code cos i live in the UK lol
I do not fully understand your question, sorry. Perhaps this article on my website will help you:www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/red-light-therapy-for-skin-benefits/
Question regarding the wavelengths… if a panel says it is 630 & 850, does that not mean that the 850 covers the wavelengths between 630 & 850? Which would essentially make it inconsequential to have a panel that has 630 & 660? I’m sure that’s not the case bc then everyone would just stick with the 2 wavelength panels, but I wanted to make sure.
Hey, thanks for your video! Will I still be able to enjoy the health benefits with the Mitpro 300, even though it's not as large? Can the upper body and face absorb enough light with a desk lamp? The larger ones seem a bit pricey to me!
Hi Alex. I am almost 80 and love listening to your reviews. Since I'm planning on purchasing a device if not this month then next. This has really helped me understand my options and narrow it down to the small platinum. I have a back injury with nerve damage on the right side and want something that can provide healing as well as pain relief. Obviously I'm on a budget as well. I have a question I'm very curious about. I've seen three or four ir pads going for about half the price of other known brands. Are they legitimate? It seems like there is something off somewhere. I don't have the time to research 3rd rate products if that's what they are.can you clarify? Thanks much. Donna
Hi Alex. Love your work. I got my smaller RLT panel for AUD $490 delivered (in Australia) from Therapy lights Australia. We also have a very large panel from them. Both are great quality. Curious as to why you review ROJO but never TLA, who have been around much longer?
Hey. Oh neat thanks for the feedback. Straight up - until recently I didn't really bother with the smaller companies - especially smaller companies in small countries. Late in 2022 I decided I was going to branch out and start looking at these said companies. Not long after that I received an email from the guys at Rojo asking if I'd like to test their new panel. And the rest is history. I will reach out to Therapy this year, a long with a few other players in the region. Fun fact - for those of you who have RLT companies - if you reach out to me you'll no doubt get a faster response than if you want for me to reach out to you :P I have about 30 companies I need to reach out to for reviews etc for example :P
Great review Alex! I wanted to get the winner (MitoPro 300) but €170 just to ship to France is too much for me. Any suggestions for panels with warehouses in Europe? Thanks for your expertise!
Can you keep your eyes open and look directly at the red light? Is there an optimal distance from the red light for different body parts? Is putting the panel directly on your skin too much?
Thanks for doing these great reviews. I have heard that flicker is important in these devices, yet the Mito Red does not have that feature. How important is flicker?
Thank you for all of your videos and all of your research. It is a lot. Is the Mito Red MitoPro 300 still the best and smalles and kind of cheapest? Does MitoRed have storrage in Europe for us europeans? (Denmark here)
I haven't reviewed any newer tabletops to compare, but it is a good panel that meets your criteria.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R3ZaAMZTSPw.htmlsi=U7XzkK4HSqbNz1L7
Hi Thank you for the information...I live in the UK and think I'm going to try the Mito pro ...Have you ever come across a Brand... block blue light RLT panels they have them here and the spec seems quite good ...
Hey, so I ran this past Bart (my go to Science guy when it comes to RLT). Here is what he had to say: . The yellow is basically a "high green". If green is located from 500-600nm, then the yellow is located just before the 600s, co probably 570-600nm. When I re-read the green light blog I wrote (This will be online soon!) , the 595nm can increase blood flow in the skin and thereby improve skin health. Inflammation in the skin also goes down. I also see some studies of green light at 532nm being used for freckles, but lasers are used there: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/12623553/ Apparently huge improvements can be made over 2-3 months with green light, but I have to know the power output. 5:54 Here's from the full text of the paper: "A quasi-continuous, frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser (Emerald; Crystal Focus, France) was used in the study. Its speci cations included: wavelength 532 nm, pulse duration 1.6µs, frequency 14 kHz, power 0.1-4.5W, exposure time 0.01 s - continuous, and spot size 2 mm. Pulse energy was veri ed with a laser power/energy meter (DGX OPHIR, France) at frequent intervals" So super high power and pulse it seems for a short time. Probably hard to create with one of the devices that Scott Kennedy used to sell but it might work, yes. You may want to jump into our FB group to discuss this - facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders/
Hi Alex, at 9:33 when you show the Retail Price of Hooga Pro300, it seems to be an image of HG200. I'm actually really interested in the HG200 given the portability of it since it's only 3.3 lbs, have you tried it?
@@LightTherapyInsiders No medical -grade LED devices contain dual-chip bulbs. Any device that is stating that it has two isn't actually good. FDA approved is the best devices and they are lot's of brands claiming to be legit or better. It's hard to see this. Saying you have two chips bulbs isn't actually good
In my past comments last week, I'd included specs for pulsing red light therapy for neuropathy, that I'd been looking for in a unit. Have any of your subscribers had success treating neuropathy with any of your specific models that are lower budgeted? Are there any units like the Mito Pro 300x that have full NIR lights but also pulse and have these specs I'd listed?
Does it matter that the panel with extra wavelengths is providing less power per LED? Whereas the panel with only two wavelength should be somewhere around double the intensity per LED.
Hey, Yeah though I tried to get a broad range of devices. One from each company. This was a 4 part series so I looked at other things (not just price) in the other videos.
do you have any reviews on belts or helmets? I am looking for something for brain health. for budget reasons, i am wondering if wrapping a belt around head would have same benefits?
What the best amount of time you should do for skin specifically? Daily I mean. I bought the bio max 900x4 based on your reviews but knowing how long/often to use it is tough. Want to get the best benefits. Any thoughts would be really appreciated. Thanks Alex!
Have you compared any of these to the 40$ 45w cheaper panels on Amazon? Not sure if those produce what they say they do. Also, do you need goggles for your eyes on any of these and if so why?
Hi Alex do you have any evidence yet for long covid/mitochondrial dysfunction use yet? And a protocol to use? I am on a budget so can't afford a whole body panel
Never fails all of these channels where they talk about budget these guys don't understand the the meaning of budget, people are looking for something sufficient that at the lowest price, we're looking for the lowest priced one that works ITS THAT SIMPLE
Budget is all relative. I mean you can get a budget BMW. But BMW's are a relatively expensive car.. Anyway, check this out - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zJOHngd7PUI.html
I am balding yes. Though I do think RLT has actually slowed the rate of my hair loss. I am going to be experimenting with a RLT hair loss helmet this year. So Stay tuned for that!
I think the biggest problem with most Chinese supplied panels is the wavelength is not what they claim and the irradiance value is super low. I'm trying to source and I see that they all lie. So I don't know how some of these white label companies find the right supplier.
What update are you looking for? I did recently publish this video which may help - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FFCrl11AIbY.html 0 - means no EMF detected
And I think the pro line has flicker free. At least not the last time I looked the non pro did not have flicker free lights. Oh. And the pro doesn’t have a timer. The non pro slim does have one. Not sure why they didn’t put one on the pro 300.
Dude, "budget friendly" is under a hundred bucks. Think of the average income of a famliy in the US, about 40k a year. You really need to learn what a "budget" is. $500 is getting a used car or a down payment on one. That is the level of spending $500, a real need.
@@inferidii I get why they are so expensive, because it is the new thing so they can charge more. Just slap a label on it saying "we had experts check all the lights to make sure they are at the optimum absorbing spectrum" and buy it from china for $10. Then go sell it for a few hundred. A lot of crap works that way.
