I dig the tutorial man. I wish you'd do more videos like this. You got skills with these types of things man and I don't think you realize how many people out there are great mechanics, but absolutely lost when it comes to things like this.
I've been thinking about getting one of these scopes. The Pico is way out of my budget. I've seen the second scope that you showed. I kind of like that style as the screen is bigger and it has the touch screen feature. Thanks for the tutorial!
There are other in depth videos of this scope that explain all the little details, (by some full on scope nerds :).. So for the few things that you're not really sure about what they do, that's a good way to learn about it. It's crazy what you can learn just by watching videos about it. :) .. Plus they test all the limitations of the scope too.
This is a neat budget scope; but the b3st mid tier scope that I've found, that gives you everything but it's much cheaper than getting the 4channel P^co scope: It's the R^goI DHO804. It's true 12bit vertical resolution and has 25Mpts of deep memory. Fantastic 4channel bench scope that is quite small and portable. It runs on USB-c for power, so you can just run it easily with a power bank or even a charger adapter to the 12v battery in the car... They were three hundred when I got mine, but they have since gone up to four hundred now.. Because they were so good and getting bought up so fast, they had to raise the price I guess. It has all the features of their $4k versions, except in a much smaller package and a little 7" touch screen. This is by far your best bang/per/dollar if you want something mid tier.
I have that scope in my cart for a while now! I want it for my bench setup. It does seem impractical for using on a vehicle in the field. I saw people complaining it takes awhile to boot up. I love how it has a visa mount!
@@advancedleveldiagnostics Yeah.. I feel that way about a Pico too though. But when you really need it, it's a great option (the dho804). EEVblog did a k^ller video breakdown of it... (But I agree with you, it's definitely good to have a small handheld scope for most things.) About the boot up: I just turn it on as soon as I break it out, then by the time you get all your leads hooked up and situated-- it's already done booting. I think what those people are doing is getting everything setup first, and then switching it ON last and standing there doing nothing while it boots. I think it takes like 48 seconds or something.. so it's definitely not a big issue IMO

yes sir same as that . have a little hand held one use it to check network or sensors. excellent for a quick look at what’s going on or if there is anything going on more importantly 👌
I bought this device when I saw you using it a lot. I will be honest with you. I did not feel comfortable because of the small screen, but please buy the micsig 1004. It will be very useful for you. I will buy it soon.
Hello sir . Great video. I’m your # 1 fan I don’t miss one or your videos. Question for you.. What does the signal generation does? How we can use it on the osiloscope . Can we put 5 volts on a sensor that doesn’t work ? Thank you sir
So you're keeping leads in old plastic tool cases? I've asked so many people how they organize their diag stuff and most of them just throw their stuff in a cardboard box. lol. Which I don't want to do. I've been leaning towards a duffle bag style suit case/carry on looking setup.. but I like your tool case Idea too. I do have some old drill and sawzaw cases laying around.
I've seen them with different names. The name doesn't really matter so much with ch^nese built stuff. They will package stuff under multiple names or sellers.
