After a big ordeal, the long and short is I wanted to use up this gift card from Best Buy so I didn't ever have to deal with them again. Not so fast.... Lets hear your fun Best Buy experiences America!!!
What happens is ppl buy these electronic items once they go bad or blow then they buy a new one and then peel off the number on the back put it in the old one so it will match the box and receipt. And the new one they keep and they just the old number for their receipt and box. Because i know ppl that do it wirh xbox and Playstation all the time.
I bought that unit from them, and had them install it in my Tundra. After it burned out 3 times in less than 9 months, I gave up and ate the $500. My sanity is more important. Never going through Best Buy again.
Ive never had this type of thing happen to me with best buy, but from the way it sounds you might have been a bit less than pleasant yourself towards them. So call it karma? Also probably not a smart idea getting on a video talking about being a concealed permit holder and basically saying you wish one of them would do something, that to me sounds like you want to use it. Which isnt the intent of one of those permits. Sorry this happened to you though, i hate when companies are shitty like this.

If the employee you were working with did say what you said he said, why didnt you ask for a manager and report the employee? That is what makes me question your credibility of the story. Yes there is always at least 2 sides to every story and maybe that person was having a bad day, or maybe you were, and that is understandable but inexcusable on the employees part. They are suppose to be professional when in the environment of work, but i know when I am at work and am working with someone who is being less than pleasant towards myself, i have a hard time being nice. So i could see how they could be an asshat toward someone being that way towards them. Now when it comes to the "what you are saying I did and said I have not done NOR said" I am assuming you are talking about my Concealed permit comment.. to be clear on what i meant by that. When i said this, I was talking about the part of the video where you said "the employee that had to come across the counter and be 2 inches from me, who knows what would have happened that day best buy?" that is very heavily implying you wanted/intended to use force, which sure might have been justified in the situation at the time, but then coming on youtube and talking about it. Also VERY heavily implies intent to use which means to me that you are looking for any excuse to use your gun. But like i said, maybe you were in the right, maybe you were in the wrong but its not very wise to come on a platform like this and make stupid remarks like that because when it comes to the justice system this could be used as evidence against you. I am 100% for the second amendment and dont actually believe there should be any type of carry laws or need for permits, BUT when i see shit like what was said here, these types of comments are huge red flags for someones ability to conduct themselves in a type of manor that justifies the right in general. Again, sorry this happened to you but there were definitely other steps you could have taken with the company to get this corrected that they HAVE to honor, not to mention corrective action for that employee. So all this being said, I call BS on interaction with the employee part of the story, but i guess its your word against, well nobody elses..........................................................................................................................................................................................

@@ThatDudeFlex1 right... I see he says he ordered it. So I am assuming he ordered it online. He doesnt specify if he did order it online or if he found it in store. BUT... either or of those scenarios if I ordered it and had it delivered to my house and it showed up like that there is no way i would take that as acceptable when it says "excellent" condition. I would have taken it to the store that day and said WTF, and if he found it in store why did he not inspect it before he bought it? Coming on here and bitching about something when you can take action to have it corrected is beyond me. I understand trying to raise awareness because I have been burned as well from big stores like this but this is a bit blown out of proportion unless they refused to handle the situation but it sounds like he didnt even try to have the subwoofer issue corrected.
