like it, I would have preferred a front symetrical shaped mesh design like the torrent, but overall looks good.. the "flaps" looks good too, makes it look different.
Thank god i got this and got rid of my old corsair... My memory hit my aio fan among other issues in the corsair. I'll never understand why people like normal sized towers you have no room or very very little... This case fits everything with room to spare however it gets pretty tight with a triple fan AIO but it does all fit... I hate making cables and everything look clean however this case made it beyond easy.
My first pc case back in the day was the antec p180. Antec makes great stuff. Their cases are affordable and the cooling options are always great. Keep up the great work bro and stay safe.
I really like this case. I'm definitely going to use the _Silent_ variant (noise-cancelling steel sides, silent-version fans, no temperature display) for my next build.
Great looking case and seems to perform well. I have a Torrent and this still piques my interest as it looks a bit easier to work with. You're performance charts answered a lot of questions. Seems to be a great value with little to no trade offs really. Well done Antec!
Currently using the silent version of this case for a week - the cable management is great, the bottom fan mounts under the GPU caused my fans to make such a loud hum and wind noise that I removed them. Temps are good and access to filters is super nice. I really wanted the bottom fans, so I am disappointed in the noise + the one above the PSU is useless because there is no space for the fan to get air. I am using NF-A12x25 Noctua fans - so it's not a question about cheap fans.
Gotta say, as a current Torrent owner, there’s a lot I like about this case. The cable management is a W over the Torrent by a mile. I would love to see someone throw a Glacier One 360 T30 in the top and 3 T30s on the bottom…🤔
Could be that the fans themselves are loud? I like when you have an option to get a case with or without fans. You kind of know what to expect if you have your own fans.
Thanks for the video. I realize I'm a bit late to the party, but I have a question. Is the case wide enough so you have plenty of clearance for the connectors that attach to the top of the GPU? I remember the melting issues with 4090 cards were being partially blamed on the cables coming out of the top of the GPU being bent too much. Thanks!
What other cases have a screen on the case? I saw the MSI 700r does and this one. Any others? I kinda like that and what is drawing Mr on my next upgrade. Upgrading from Ryzen 1800x (on release) and 1080ti. The fact I have Cities Skylines II is the reason why I'm upgrading lol sooner than later. I saw that and I still haven't upgraded yet lol.
Nice case, I would consider if I hadn't already bought (last year) the Be Quiet SB 802. While this is a very good case all-around, there is the NV7 by Phanteks as well. Both of those cases, doesn't have integrated fan controllers , which is a missed opportunity imo. I could see myself using one of those cases, for sure. The thing I am glad about, is that ANTEC is totally back in the game, not only case-wise , but hardware-wise in general!
it,s a lovely Case Gentlemen and mod monkeys alike ^_0, a friend of mine stuck a 58 MM thick Ek Rad 360 on the top section and it works, the same one on front , we,re tinkering a bit to maybe use a les profile 240 one on the bottom , soooo tha,s 3 radz , really not bad , many if not all manufacturors don,t give enough headroom for thicker radiators for the top section in too mny cases , this one has vent holes on the bottom and side wich is great
Really nice case, but not what I would call "extreme."" Think I'm still going to get a Cooler master HAF 700 case: two 200mm fans on front, two 120mm fans rear, 420mm radiators at bottom & side & top all at the same time, OR two 360mm radiators at the top, 480mm radiator at side & 420mm at bottom all at same time again - The ultimate 2023 PC enthusiast case.
How much were you reviewers paid. I've seen many reviews and not one has mentioned there are no LED lights on the front panel , matter of fact most never show the full from panel, other than that temp read out. I couldn't even tell I f it was on! lolI Its so dark with no lights I had to install a red fan just so I could tell when it as on. It's also a small full toswer.
under £150 and it might be on the shortlist, but loud non rgb fans for £170+ is a bit too much in my opinion, ditch the glass rear panel and use the money for better fans and they might be onto something
@@EverydayGT3maybe you haven't seen or read all the reviews yet, or listen to what Andy was saying, it is a noisy case and one of the loudest in the review group, that is a sign of poor fan design. not top of the line. Look at the fans, 300mm deep so they had to increase air pressure by changing the angle of the blades, and still one of the loudest. this is not a top of the line fan and at a premium price they need to do better
With only 175mm of CPU cooler max height I already don’t like it. I know it doesn’t sound like a big difference but I ditched one case because of that… and got one with 190mm. That and the fact that I have an AiO with a 420mm rad at the top in push pull config… which I really like at the top and this Antec wouldn’t support.
Why does everyone keep praising the LCD display? It's terribly located, who's going to stand up and press a button to see the CPU or GPU temps, that's so dumb. The LCD should be located on the side of the case and all the ports should be on the side as well.
No they "should" not. That configuration would be terrible for me. The on the top configuration suits a lot of people. It also doesn't suit a lot of other people - its about choice. To have the buttons and display elsewhere would be more complicated which increases design and build costs. This is Antec trying to get back into the community with a good case - they have been in the doldrums for years so they will likely have budget limits on the build and design costs. If this case is successful and antec start to get a bit more market share, then the next version could well support alternative positions - a few have suggested a flip up display which would then support both floor and table positioning of the case.
From the Outside, it looks very (Fractal) Torrent. From the Backside, it looks very (Phanteks) Eclipse and from the Inside it looks not special. When i hear the Word "Flagship" it pisses me of, because everyone use these word and it´s nothing special so on. I mean, i can say, that my Case is a Flagship Case but does it realy mean, that this is the true? No. Not the Slogan from a Marketing Manger makes a product a "Flagship-Case" rather the actual build quality and Feature Set. Maybe i get a wrong impression of this Case, but with the word "Flagship" i associate a Lian Li Lancool 3 Mesh, a Fractal Define 7/ Meshify 2, a Phanteks P600S but not an Antec Case, that copies things.
From the company, both Fractal and Phanteks basically copied their whole business model and every computer case. Pretty much everyone of their products is inspired or a copy of Antec.
@@EverydayGT3 Do you work for Antec - all your posts are making things up about how Antec are the best. The never were the best - they were certainly very good back in the day (I lost count of the number of Antec 900's I built in) but these modern day cases bare very little resemblance to anything Antec designed and they(Fractal, Phanteks Coolermaster) , along with Lian Li are at the forefront of bringing new designs and features that have been on no Antec cases ever until this one.
@@malphadour no I don’t. Any me saying it’s the best is my opinion, like your opinion about the other brands being the forefront is design. Which they are not, if you look at the history, all the brands take inspiration from Antec. That’s all I’m saying. Plus I don’t have many posts about Antec. Just trying to clear the air about misinformation. J
