Good video, excellent show of its potentiality. I think I will pick myself up one of these over here in the UK

I use the much cheaper Ryobi, which works great, and I have had it for years.

I’ve got the same one and the decision to purchase it was the weight and balance . I’m on Dewalt platform but Milwaukee was my choice after checking out all the others on the market.

I am the same mostly dewalt, I liked the idea of the smaller battery is another reason I went with Milwaukee.

What do you think?!? A tool to have or have not?
@garysmith9015
@garysmith9015 4 года назад
😄 I knew you would say sissy tool! But it definitely saves time in the world of instant gratification, cause time is money! It looks like it makes less mess inside the tool as well.

Haha never know what words to use these days. It's a wrist and hand saver aswell as time. I've put about 400 tubes of silicone thru it now not an issue the variable speed trigger is really nice. It keeps a constant and consistent bead. I wouldn't another job without it. Thanks for the comment and dont forget to SUBSCRIBE!!

Is this a shipping container home? Also why is the dry wall glued to wood, instead of screwed into wooden studs?
@demidog4549
@demidog4549 3 года назад
It is not a shipping container home it's steel framed the drywall is not glued to the plywood. The trim is adhered with silicone it cannot be attached to the wall without drilling holes which would look terrible

@@TheGruszi it allows you to do a continuous bead without stopping to pull the trigger. It definitely saves time when needing to lay out alot of material quickly.

Would this work on a skilled and meticulous application? Or better to stick with manual gun?
@demidog4549
@demidog4549 3 года назад
Its a variable speed trigger so it is precise. It takes a little getting used to. I wouldnt just start using it for real precise applications. May better to use a dripless manual gun for getting really precise. Hope that helps if you liked the content dont forget to like and subscribe thanks!!!

What's with all the silicon on a interior wall
@drefogg8494
@drefogg8494 3 года назад
Silicone is the preferred adhesive for this material. It allows the material to expand and contract and still be structured to whatever you trying to adhere it to.
@demidog4549

@@drefogg8494 I couldn't answer that question any better.

You have never heard of lines?
@demidog4549
@demidog4549 3 года назад
Haha with this type of material you don't want to have a continuous bead of adhesive. Individual dabs help the product move "expand and contract".

It’s a time/effort saver for sure. I just hate the overall construction of it. Too much plastic, especially the barrel and nut connection, and the rod itself, makes me think that the first good drop it experiences with a full tube in it, or even a half full one with the rod sticking out the back - that thing is gonna go flying into a bunch of pieces.
@andysmith9140
@andysmith9140 2 года назад
Maybe, but Milwaukee usually do good impact testing on their tools........ Only time will tell, but you made a good point
@wadopotato33
@wadopotato33 2 года назад
The rod isn't plastic. It is coated with a black material, but it is a big old chunk of metal. It is actually quite well constructed.
@BigBear--
@BigBear-- 2 года назад
Yeah you’re right, the rod will probably hold up depending on what the gear/drive mechanism inside is made of. But the barrel and barrel nut still concerns me, if they’re really cheap to replace, and the replacements are easily obtained, it’s prob less of an issue.
@rickw4160

@@BigBear-- very easy to replace and change out with saussage and quart . Just amazing how fast you can empty out a tube.
