Thanks Ash. Been following your videos for years and have bought many fragrances based upon on your reviews. I just got in today RAVE and I must say that after about five minutes, the pineapple dissipates and all that’s left is a powdery spicy Rose cardamom smell. For me, the pineapple doesn’t last.

Thanks for great review. I love the Pineapple smell that it has. Every time I have worn it I have gotten compliments. Like you mentioned, you can go nose blind on it then u smell it out of nowhere at different times. Great scent though. I'm diggin it.

This is a really nice fragrance. The opening is as outstanding as Ash says. The dry down keeps some pineapple but you get some woodsy, softness. On my skin, it’s very nice, wifey likes it too. He’s also right about it going anosmic. It does that on me as well. Warning: Do not overspray. It will be cloying. Two to three light shots is all you need. It’s better on skin than on clothes.

These are the Notes I've found for Lattafa Rave Now: Rose, Dry Birch, Moroccan Jasmine and Patchouli. Middle Notes: Blackcurrant, Bergamot, Apple and Pineapple. And yeah, this stuff sounds like it would be far better to layer with CDNIM compared to just Demeter Pineapple b/c that stuff literally last for like 45 minutes tops. I'll have to give this ☝️ a try Ash! Thanks man!

Sounds like Shawq by Swiss Arabian. Which is a Aventus inspired fragrance with focus on pineapple. And it's really inexpensive, but it lasts for a long time. Perfect for layering with CDNI and other fragrances.

It is crazy now that any scent that has pineapple in it just instantly gets compare to Aventus. It’s so weird to see a scent almost completely trademark a specific note. That said - Frederic Malles ‘Music for a While’ is probably one of the only Pineapple heavy scents that never ever gets compared to Aventus. It’s a super unique take on Pineapple, never smelled anything else like it. So it’s cool to see that it is still possible to use Pineapple without making a scent smell like Aventus.

It’s similar to Cardamom for La Nuit de L’Homme. And maybe similar to Iris for Dior Homme Intense. There are many ways to use both notes, but people always seem to expect a comparison to those fragrances when cardamom and iris are mentioned.

@@SirSillageSniffington That's because the pineapple accord in Aventus is actually quite horrible. Music for a while has a lot more realistic, juicy pineapple note, whereas Aventus has just a hint of "fresh" pineapple, but it's mostly bergamot and citrus in the top

I can't remember what Italiano Nero smelled like, but I remember I smelled it 2 years ago in a store (I remember it was a black bottle) and it was one of the worst smelling fragrances I've ever smelt in my life 😅. Tbh, my taste has changed now that I've become a collector, so idk if I'll like it now.

I bought executive 26 from ALT fragrance and I am NOT mad. It smells just like Aventus and the performance is beyond beasty!! I also have MB Explorer and it doesn’t hold up like E26 does.

@@BrewingWithBrandon that’s because they literally use real plants natural oils and fruits to make their fragrances . Weather and seasons affect the crops as far as quality . It’s takes Creed 4 years to bottle each batch because they only pick the crops that closest resembles the smell of the previous batch . They have year round overlapping crops they grow just to keep up with demand . Other brands use synthetic smells and labs to match their competitors fragrances. This is what you pay for with Creed hence drastic price difference. People might not care and say “well it smells the same anyways why spend the money ?” but when you put a fragrance on your skin it gets into your blood stream so you always want the purity of natural ingredients over synthetic in that sense .

@@TeXasDadBod Just no... Aventus is a heavily synthetic perfume. They use some naturals of course, but like all modern perfumes, Aventus is mostly synthetic. Also, and this is very important, natural ingredients are not better or safer for you than synthetics, it's quite the opposite even.

Speaking of Pineapple Ash, have you ever tried Lataffa’s QAED AL FURSAN? The presentation is pretty nice, solid magnetic cap and the fragrance is pineapple turnt up to 20, with close to 12 hours longevity!

They just came out with a Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited, which is a white and gold bottle that smells like floral creamy coconut. Combined with the original Al Fursan, you end up with a perfect Pina Colada combo!

It won't be redundant to own this, Cdnim was my favourite, but this is better as it has a more natural flowery pineapple scent, and a sure bet for all seasons. It isn't a direct Aventus clone, more like in the mould of Paco Rabbanne's Black XS L'Exces

How does it compare to al Fursan? That thing has a nasty opening, but right after, turns into a sick pineapple long lasting smell. I put it on before bed on my right arm, next day I wore a long sleeve for work, put on Fakhar on the shirt, and the smell still overpowered through the sleeve, past the Fakhar smell.

I ordered a bottle of Rave Now a week ago. Hopefully I receive it soon. I have a few questions for anyone who knows about Rave Now. How is the projection and the delivery? How long does it stay on skin? How long does the pineapple 🍍 smell last or does it fadeaway? Also, I heard that it starts off as a Creed Aventus smell and then changes to a Nishane Hacivat smell and then drys down to an Ultra Male Jpg scent. Is that true?

@@daboydudus3912 I am not sure what you are asking? At the time I didn't have Rave Now. I had a few questions toward the fragrance. I currently have Rave Now and it is a great pineapple 🍍 scent. It last a long time on my skin and days on clothes. It took a few wearings till I started liking it. It does not smell like Nishane Hacivat or Ultra Male. Rave Now and Qaud Al Fursan smell identical alike. Rave Now is a cool fragrance. Hopefully that answered you questions.

Been looking for a pineapple fragrance for ages but pineapple never delivers the way I want it too, aventus has the best pineapple i've smelled still. Hacivat has a creamy pineapple which takes away from the juicy tropical freshness of it and coach platinum did the same thing with pineapple that hacivat did. Aventus was always special with that pineapple opening

Check out Porthole by Loumari. Took awhile to come in from France but it was so worth it. So pineapple forward and such great staying power. Trust me, if you get a sample or a bottle you won't regret it

My best advice is to buy two bottles!!! I ordered rave on the video post date and just got it last night, WOW!!!... $15 for forced 2-4 day shipping when it actually takes 2 weeks is 🔥 🗑, however, this scent is my new favorite after angels exir... thank you GS

What i do is i spray this first on then i spray either club de nuit or afnan, so i mix them, wel wel you will like the combo try it, lots of compliments

I will definitely try layering it when I receive my bottle of Rave. Do you have to macerate the Rave or does it instantly deliver that "Strong" blast of pineapple 🍍?
