Hey Kristin, you can get mild Rotel. Maybe with the pepper-Jack cheese and the Rotel made it a little too hot! I too, have a problem with spice! Love your recipes and enjoy watching you! You are so fun! Thank you!
I’ve made dip in the crockpot! But I use hamburger (I cook it and then drain it first) add it to the crockpot pot with chopped up Velveeta cheese, and I use a large can of medium salsa and just let that cheese melt on low for a good while. And it’s real good. ❤ I do stir it about every 20 minutes tho
I make that dip with the Velveeta, breakfast sausage (I use hot sausage) a can of Rotel tomatoes all the time. I don't put sour cream or cream cheese in mine, and it always gets totally eaten up! Everybody loves it. 😋 Yummy stuff
I very much enjoy watching your recipes on the other side of the Atlantic. There are ingredients of which I have never heard (e.g Cool Whip, Rotel). Am also struck by the amount of packaging involved and hope it can all be recycled! But have just made a ‘Dump Cake’. Hadn’t heard of that before but it was very nice.
Good morning Kristin I have been watching your recipes for some time one I love your energy it makes my day , two wanted to share a dip recipe of mine with you here it as follows: 2 rolls of spicy Jimmy Dean sausage 2 cans of mild Rotel or you can use just petite diced tomatoes 16oz of whipped cream cheese cook meat drain the grease mix all together and enjoy all together cooking time is 30 min or less have a blessed day ❤
❤kristin, next time you mske, omit the breakfast sausage. In separate pan cook some mild or hot Italian sausage and in another pan, cook some chorizzo. Once dip is done stir divide in half and add Italian sausage to one and chorrizo to the other. It will give you more variety and see what your guests say. I think the hot Italian sausage or chorrizo should be great

First dip I would try some cilantro. Second dip looked real yummy😋😋 Third dip ranked the same as second one yummy😋😋 Third was good and the winner is🤔 No winner all three are winners just bring on the chips!❤
Instead of pepper jack, I use plain Monterey jack, because the pepper jack is too hot for my mouth. I use the rotelle also and mild green chilies but I drain the real good.
I made the velveta and Rotel added the breakfast sausage 1 pound of sharp cheddar and two diced and seeded red jalapeños. I got the recipe from a church gathering in Texas. They called it Matagorda Fire.
Try the cheese and two cans of the tomatoes. I make it with a brick of walmarts velveta and one can of tomatos with green chili's. My sister puts cream cheese and hamburger in hers along with what i have in mine.

Hey Kristin..I just gotta tell you this cause you’ll get a good laugh out of it. These dips look amazing, however, if I put Velveeta cheese in ANYTHING, my hubby turns green! 🤢 His dad & brothers use to use this cheese to catch fish with. It worked great, but my hubby said when the hook came out of the fish, it had this big chunk of slimy drippy Velvetta on it & it made him hate it forever…😂 LOL!!!!!
She didn’t use the Wrapped process American Chesse, that looks like plastic, she used the American Cheese that’s very similar to what you get in the deli, there’s a big difference and, it taste so, much better, it’s aka/ Real American Cheese!
