Hot Pot Macaroni in a Bread Bun
1:) Boil Macroni with 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp olive oil until al dente.
2:) In a pan, add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tsp olive oil, 2 cloves garlic crushed. Saute for few seconds. Add 1 onion finely chopped. Sauté until translucent.
3:) Now add 2 tbsp pasta sauce and 1 cup baked beans. Mix and cook for 1-2 mins.
4:) Add salt to taste, 1/2 tsp chilli flakes, 1 tsp Italian herbs, 1/4 tsp black pepper. Mix and let it cook for 1 min.
5:) Now add 1/2 cup cream and mix.
6:) Now add boiled macroni and 1/4 cup pasta water and 1 tbsp parmesan cheese. Mix and cook for 2-3 mins.
Switch off the flame and Keep aside.
7:) Garlic Butter: 2 tbsp room temperature butter, 2 cloves crushed garlic, 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves. Mix until well combined.
8:) Take a bun. Make bread bowls by cutting
a 1/2-inch thick slice from the top of the
bun. Scoop out bread in the center,
leaving a 3/4-inch thick shell.
9:) Apply the garlic butter all around the bread.
10:) Place the bun on the baking pan lined with parchment paper.
11:) Fill the bun with macroni. Put grated mozzarella cheese on top.
12:) Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 mins at 200/c. Serve hot!
