For the longest time, I was a huge fan of the M1. The first time I bought it, I took it out and did a mag dump just to see how controllable it is for quick follow-up shots... *"PING"* *OHMYGOD!OHMYGOD!!OHMYGOD!!!* [squeeing like a little school girl commences] Yes, I was hooked. Then the AR-10 came on the scene, with better penetration and expansion, less recoil, and it's an AR-10, about the only rifle in real life that I love more than the Garand. (My irl hunting rifle is an AR-10 in. 308 Win) Yeah, the Zarza in .308 is the one rifle that I'll ALWAYS have in my load-out. I question the .270 being a 4-8 rifle. Personally, it feels more like it should be a 3-7 class. The same for the 6.5, in my opinion. In Medved, I bagged a moose from 400+ meters with the .308, and it didn't run very far. Had I tried the same shot with the .270 or 6.5, the moose would have probably made it halfway to Yukon before dying! 😅 I have an idea for a vid: class 9 weapons ranked. There's 6 rifle, 1 handgun, and 1 shotgun. Not gonna include the archery options so as to avoid making it a confusing mess lol.
@@LadyLegendXO I don't know about red deer being class 7, if only because they do not seem any tougher than any mulies I've bagged in this game. Elk I can see as class 7, because they just seem to drop quicker than moose in my personal experience. What class is the .300 Magnum, again?
I was an M1 fan to the core and didn’t want to try the .308 from the modern rifle pack but I did just to confirm the M1 was king (like I did before with the Eckers and 303) but huge mistake. 😂 Now I am carrying the Zarza .308 always but the M1 has a special place in my heart.
I'm at a struggle between thr 6.5 and other guns the reason is I hit consistently over 250to 350m and with other guns the accuracy is so bad thr 6.5 has thr best accuracy for 4 to 8 at a whopping 70 compaired to thr 308 at only 45 that's crazy. So at 150 to 200 the 308 destroys things but after that it seems those small changes with the accuracy seriously hurts. So when I'm shooting a great one at 250 plus I'd rather run a little longer get the full trophy then risk messing a shot up because the guns accuracy
I really like the new Zarza-10 .308, but the .303 that came with the Te Awaroa map DLC has a better sound. The .303 was my go-to weapon after it arrived, but despite the weedier sound of the Zarza, that is #1 in my loadout now for its ability to take quicker follow-up shots. Probably the biggest step-change when I was levelling came when I added the 7mm to my loadout. The single-shot capacity is limiting when you do not have all the perks, but it's a solid weapon that got me some great kills.
Currently, the .308 Zarza has the same penetration and only 1 less expansion as the .300 Canning Magnum, so I'm running with that. Will keep using it until the inevitable nerf.
Really like the .308. My favourite is the eckers 30-06 especially if I'm taking shots over 300 meters. For me it's more accurate then the Zarza. Also have never shot the 270.
@@rshunts2715 I'm 2mo in roughly with probably 80hrs. I only have one diamond, but it's a Melanistic Red Deer. I've seen an Albino Lion, but I lost track of it and couldn't find it again unfortunately. I was new to the game then so I probably would have been able to now I think. I don't do the efficient grinds though. I just hunt and shoot ones I wanna shoot, then hope for good respawns I'll find eventually.
I prefer the Eckers, at the range shooting at anywhere between 200-350 meters popping off rounds as fast as i can, I will always miss 1 or 2 bullseye's with the m1 out of 50 shots. But i've never missed a shot with the Eckers, its just so predictable and easier to acquire the next target faster. Same vs the 308.
muzzleloader, as you only got one shoot, you have to make it count, no point and shoot like the other weapons, get into a good firing position, take arm , fire,
My favorite is the 6.5. I find it the most accurate on distant targets (my best long range shot 352m) and I'm just used to it. Just saved up for the 16x scope, hope to make more kills and get a canning 300. Tks for your video.
I had to buy the zarza 10. It's what I hunt with irl and I was happy to see they did the .308 justice in game. That round has taken more wild game around the world since the 1950s. Africa's big 5, Indian tigers and elephant, Australian cape Buffalo and the jaguars and puma in South America. Not to mention anything in the USA. So you seriously can't go wrong with a .308
Being a consol player the .308 has been a God send for taking down multiple stags in a zone on my Red deer grind. Before it released I always had my trusty. 303 on me.
Im a new player, but honestly, I love the 6.5. There's almost no scope wobble, and the extremely low recoil makes follow up shots a breeze (I play on PS5). I've also noticed with 99% of my broadside shots that it looks like the round goes straight through the animal, and out the other side. As an added bonus, I personally can't name another rifle I can get heart shots with from a back angle. They may not always drop immediately, but they do not run far with a double vital of any kind.
