FEATURES
1. **Advanced Multi-Plate Clutch System**: Taking the best qualities of COPPERMIX, including its high power handling capability and ease of use, this clutch provides the next level of performance.
2. **Center Hub Integration**: The center hub design increases the engagement between the clutch disc and the transmission's input shaft. This leads to reduced input shaft wear and prevents disengagement issues, all while making transmission installation simpler than single clutches.
3. **Lightweight Flywheel**: The clutch comes with a lightweight flywheel constructed from special chromoly, providing the optimal weight for the desired torque.
4. **Aluminum Cover and Lightweight Flywheel Set**: A specially designed aluminum cover that dissipates heat efficiently is included. This is paired with a lightweight chrome-molybdenum flywheel to achieve the perfect weight setting for the delivered torque.
The set includes Flywheel Bolts, a Release Bearing, a Center Hub, two Clutch Discs, a Clutch Cover, a Flywheel, and a Sticker.
The Nismo Super Coppermix Twin Plate Clutch is rated to handle 493Kw/670Ps/660Hp.

Hi is this a pull type clutch? How did you release the throw out bearing from the clutch springs while the trans was still attached to the car?

Hey Cliff, great question. Yes it is a pull type clutch. It is hard to explain but you put a flat sided screwdriver (fairly wide) between the clutch fork and clutch release bearing end plate and twist. Applying a little bit of load to the clutch fork in the opposite direction. I wonder if there is a video out there showing this?

Did you guys find that the clutch engagement was quite high after install? I’ve been trying to adjust the master cylinder rod without much success

Hey @silviamadness, it's very important to give the master cylinder and pushrod clearance. There should be no load on the pushrod while in the rest position. You can shorten the stroke of the pedal by shortening the pushrod. The height of the pedal is adjusted through the pedal stopper. There is no other adjustments you can do as clutch take up is controlled by pressure plate. Let us know how you go and if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

@@denstoj I appreciate that very much. I’ve been adjusting, kind of back and forth to see what feels best. It seems like a bit of give and take thus far, but still playing with it. Did you guys use the factory bearing carrier as well? I know the Nismo twin clutch does not come with a bearing carrier, so it would be assumed to reuse the factory one. However, I’ve been told a taller bearing carrier is to be used instead. Thanks again for responding

@denstoj Thank you for the fast reply! My only other question is If you ever installed a nismo super coppermix twin disc clutch into an SR20 transmission, as that is what I'm doing, and I'm worried that the OEM slave cylinder will be too weak. Thanks again,
@denstoj

@blakeslide6919 no problem at all happy to help. If the slave cylinder is operating correctly there will be no issues. If it needed to be upgraded, Nismo would mention that when selling the clutch for the SR20

@denstoj Good point, I figured people were just using the stock one, I'll make sure to get a fresh one to be safe. Thank you very much for your help. There is little info on these clutches in English.
