You mentioned putting different seeds in your planters, but with them closed off, how do you reach them to plant? And you said you'll handle the ones up top, and leave the others to Growshroom, can he only access them to a certain height? A video on specifics\tips\tricks for important deviants would be cool! (if you haven't done it already.) Great video, thanks! I'm going to use some of these for my own base!
So the unabridged version: The bottom tiers are only for the growshroom to grow things for fertilizer. So when you want to grow a light-needing crop up top you'd take the growshroom out of its unit for that growing period

I built this in Eternaland to test it out, i added a third story, overhanging the balcony on the second floor, this way i can have a room on the second floor and a dedicated farm on the third level, also gives me room for the garage since this build doesn't have a spot for a garage.
I live in a place that has winter / snow 5.5 months a year and can get as cold as -45c I like winter better then summer hands down. We will see if this new update is true to cold climates. Can't wait
I've evolved the base. It's the same LxWxH. I could extend from where there are 11 open spots instead of 6 (2:32). When I open up the base entirely, I'll build 4 of the same type of building and have a walkway connecting 4 of the same kind of building.
In our hive, I'm not the one who designs our community, I just let them do it. I prefer adventuring and looking for new things around. But this time I wanna try building this. For personal space. And it also looks like it would work on future pvp servers with only a bit changes. But you see I'm a bit dumb, so can I request a full build without the skips, and if possible at normal speed? I like the fact that this scenario is going to force people to construct bases in response to survival and conditions. No more sprawling mansions etc, defensible, space efficient bases are going to be the thing. You’ve essentially created a Once Human igloo/yurt, congrats, and thanks for the tips. (Also a fun nod to our Scottish friend and his strange obsession with how the fridge and oven shouldn’t be next to one another lol)
Oh there'll be sprawling mansions, probably using the vintage stoves instead of electric heaters though. The landscape is going to make for some very pretty bases
Hello MrKraken, love this video. I have tried making it myself and upon adding the top glass parts in between the glass tri roof and the the glass pitched roof there is gaps that I am not happy with. Did you encounter this problem please and if so how did you solve it?
Good day! Need help. I tried building this, I managed to do it, but as soon as I went out and go Flight Mode, I noticed my base was on the far left side of the territory square range, leaving alot of space on the right side since they removed the Territory Expansion memetic in WoW scenario, and the whole building was a bit slanted(diagonally) and not vertically straight. Any tips on how to make sure that I build my base in the middle of the territory range and messing up the alignment of the building? Thanks!
Yeah they screwed up a lot with building with 1.3, the territory marker no longer goes on the center. The best way is to build in fly mode and count the grid squares to get the middle point. I will be doing an updated version of this base to account for all the cock-ups they made with the build system once I've finished editing the next video
If you don't mind me asking, how did you do the power connectors? I watched your video, and I don't see any unless I'm blind. You can hide the wires and pipes, but I don't see any way to do the connections.
For this quick one I just went for the dark side of the build... I pressed L to hide them. But cable management is easily done. When it comes to live, I won't be hiding cables ;)
@RealMrKraken But I mean the connectors themselves. You need some way of connecting the solar panels to the electrical devices. Unless the concrete walls act like a conduit like they do in Fallout and you just need a back connector.
Is there a chance to build double house? 😅 I play with my husband and I'm the one who build everything for us. I made duo-house in Manibus, and now wonder how to build same duo house with this cold and heat debuf
@@RealMrKraken i found a way to add more space for other things with urs in the back can add more slooped roofs on the back side of the base and add two walls next to the stairs for support
Annoyingly the changes they made to building/snapping with 1.3 is a big step backwards. The roof snapping is now more annoying as you can't shift + scroll and the gaps for the tri parts are now massive.
@RealMrKraken thought I'd built it wrong. I've got the roof made but big gaps all round and looks odd. I thought I'd built it wrong but if everyone else has the same issue that's fine I guess
Then I deleted the game, but when I was in the loading page to select the server, there was one server for the story part (on the Japanese server). But there was a note written before it, I don't remember what it was, I just remembered 26 days (in red), so what does this mean? Is it going to happen in 26 days or not, or will that server be closed or reset or open in 26 days? How come you don't know?
Update comes way too late after most players have already quit. Player numbers fell off a cliff. Devs take multiple player surveys and then proceed to not listen at all to any of the advice given. All the game cares about is selling more cosmetic loot crates for $250, then $600. Is over $1000 next? We tried to get 8 players together for a Blackfell loot run, but it lagged out so bad that two of the players crashed. This is NOT a game, it's a PRODUCT. Time to uninstall.
I'm by no means a defender, the game's got it's problems and I hate lootcrates, regardless of if they're cosmetic only. But the numbers haven't dropped off a cliff, they've gradually declined, because of content drought and netcode nonsense, PvP (lack of) balancing. They can redeem the game, will it happen with way of winter? Probably not, but for those who stepped away after season 1 will likely come back and enjoy the new scenario, then dissappear again for however long we have to wait again for new content...
