Thank you for being patient with her English, which is improving day-by-day. Like a lot of "Tinglish" speakers in Thailand, Rose is often mixes up her R's and L's and often doesn't pronounce the ends of her words. She's working on her language, but for now it's kind-of cute!

A lovely vid, Rose. I've been interested in learning more about the View Talays. Love the larger, older units (provided they've been well kept and updated, which this one has been). Thank you for this glimpse of View Talay 6. Look forward to more of your cineographic creativity. 😊

This is View Talay 6 in Central Pattaya. There are many different condos by the same developer and I think most/all are called similar names such as 'View Talay N' or 'View Talay Residence' so be sure to book the correct one you want! We believe VT6 is the best located of all of them, and certainly very well managed. The security staff are very courteous (they will hail lifts for you as you approach) and everyone we've met that has stayed here has been most polite. Even though it's "guest friendly" and very centrally located, we have never heard any noise coming from any of our neighbours. Highly, highly recommend 👍 - Dave

Actually, if you think of this as £25 a night, it's a pretty good deal. It's close to everything so you can walk and save on transport. The Hilton is fab, but you'll burn that £750 in 4 nghts....

Yes we are happy here because of the size, the space and the excellent location. The only improvement would be to have a better view of the sea - which is better on units on the other side of the corridor. Next time! 😊

Dave thank you very much and sorry for the trouble bothering you.? And yes I'm from the West California so very expensive to live here as I retired in 2016 I've been living in Thailand 70%. I'll be back in Thailand late November and I'll check that condo out. And I see so many RU-vid videos with all the new condos but I like the old-style utulei so much bigger Condominiums with more square footage? I'll take your advice let's check out the area you said we're all the real estate rental agents are in that condo. I also see there's a lot of nice view Tayla condos in JomTien, but I like being right there on Beach Road next to Central Festival? I see some of the RU-vidrs using a agent or rental company to help them find condos and so I'll play it by here, thanks again Dave🍀 thank you very much 🎀

i have been to talay 6 and they showed me a condo that was much smaller , this condo is great who do i talk to to get something that size for the same price , and i will be more than happy to buy you lunch if i can get this information

Whether you are interested in buying or renting, you can contact him directly. Of course they have many rooms, many sizes, and they have spacious rooms, beach views, of course you like it. I'll contact him soon. And will definitely give you information ☺️

(Dave typing) we aren't in Pattaya at the moment, but I will try to help. We rented this condo through "Deaw" who has an office on the 3rd floor, I think the name of his company is "W-ASIA" or similar. As you walk in from Second Road, it's on the right of the internal "mini strip mall" walkway, before you reach the lifts. I can send you his LINE ID via email too (will find it tonight). We did the rounds of all the agents on the 3rd floor, asking them what they had. Most [understandably] wanted 3-6 month minimum stays, but a handful will do 1 month (and maybe even shorter) stays. Worth popping into each office to ask what they've got. PS: Rose says thanks very much for the online coffee you sent!

Patient right there on the main drag beach road next to the Hilton everything's right there and do they have rentals there I'm very interested please let me know, Thank you . I walked by there a 1OO times but never went in the condo to look around. (Dave typing) This building is called View Talay 6 and it is arguably the best located in Pattaya, because it straddles both Beach Road and Second Road and is right next door to Central Festival shopping mall. We have found the best ways to strike a rental deal is to visit each of the numerous real estate agents on floor 3 (the main “entrance” floor area, above the 2 storeys of car parking). Alternatively, use Agoda and Airbnb online to see what’s available if you’re not already in the city. Hope that helps, Dave

(Dave typing) we aren’t in Pattaya at the moment, so difficult for me to keep an eye on rentals there. Honestly, when I last visited I booked a few nights using Airbnb and then just visited the agents, being nice to them to see what they could do. I fear that as we approach high season, there maybe less deals than before but still exceptional value compared to some newer, smaller, further away condos and almost certainly better when comparing to pretty much anything in the West!

hello rose this is AL once again there is a few different rental agencies at talay 6 you see i will be visiting pattaya in october to straighten out a couple of things and i will be retiring there at this time next year , so your telling me i need to talk to deaw at W-ASIA TO FIND OUT ABOUT CONDO'S FOR RENT AND THERE LOCATED ON THE 3RD FLOOR . @alanwood4968 For both of us, This place is at the peak point. And the room has everything we need (fresh and comfortable). If asked if it's the best? We can't answer you. Because people's needs are not the same. But for me, I'm happy to go back and stay there again in the future. I'm just giving you one more option. Whether it's good or not, you won't know until you see it. or at the end Try staying ☺️🙏

It's good and has everything we need. Convenient location with restaurants around, massage shops, street food, next to the beach in the middle of Pattaya. No need to have a private car, use two rows, have a swimming pool, the size is suitable for water, the room is spacious, flawless, the bedroom and the office are separated. But for the privacy of some people, they tend to dislike it. If you like luxury, the price is higher. may not be here But it's just an option for many people☺️

@@TravelsWithRose The location is good, but to rank any of the View Talay buildings as good, that is simply not the case. Low standard and bad floorplan is what's wrong.

We don't own or rent rooms here -- we stayed as guests. We found the best deals on Agoda.com or just by walking in as there are many rental agents on the 3rd floor (the 3rd floor is the 'ground' floor above the 2 storey car park) -- Dave

There are that many condo's in Pattaya so I could not actually pick out the best as I've only seen a few but if you check out other RU-vid video's you will see many I class as much better than the one you claim is best, I'm not saying that to be funny I just think the one you show is quite dated but I suppose beauty is in the eyes of the beholder as they say. @@fatwallet13 understood, thanks for clarifying. We prefer location and space over perhaps having the newest fixtures and fittings. We stayed at the Riviera Jomtien, for example, which is accepted as being one of the prettiest condos (and we’d agree with that), but the units were *tiny* and, without one’s own mode of transport, was quite isolated (no 7 Eleven, cafe/bar in the vicinity and a 10 minute walk through the blazing sun to get to the beach). With a scooter, these problems are mitigated but Rose forbids me from hiring a ride because Id be dead in 60 seconds…! Dave

Yes space can be a deciding factor. My last trip to Thailand was November 2022 & I did book a stay at the Riviera as space is not really an issue for me as I was travelling alone but host let me down last minute so I had to find alternate accommodation, I had been in Bangkok then Hua Hin for a couple of weeks, I was only planning 5 days in Pattaya but ended up staying 2 weeks as I was I'll & couldn't travel as I planned. Maybe next time I'll get to travel to more places when I'm over there. Yep scooter riding can be a bit white knuckle out there I have the scares to prove it ha ha! Any way enjoy your time in Thailand. @@TravelsWithRose
