The *BEST* CS2 Pro Settings Guide W/ Elige

Hey EliGE 🙌🏻 To make this guide complete. With your reflex and low latency settings it would be very helpful to know your resizeable bar settings in bios and if you manually added that or anything through nvidia profile inspector. Likewise if you are rocking HAGS (hardware accelerated gpu scheduling) and or the optimize window mode. Also system spec and power profile and scaling page in nvidia! Cuz all these things interact in the realm of the “reflex/low latency” type and easy standard “non enthusiast” pc setup! Thanks! PS. Or course people can A/B test, but a few more “data points” would greatly help people understand your “decision context”.

Texture filtering on 4x or higher will show stickers better on weapons, and I saw no fps difference. Minor change either way. Obrigado, Elige, ótimo video.

This is a crazy cfg file! I discover a lot of commands here, not a huge surprise being a Pro-Player, but there is not too much places where you can found commands like this.

texture filtering mode is bugged. and you actually get lower fps on low settings. i have experimented with this settings and the best fps i get is with 16x (sound crazy i know). but i'm pretty sure that bilinear and trilinear are the worst settings. hope this helps someone

If you put unbindall at the top of your config, you don’t have to unbind individual keys

I currently have "-high -nojoy -fullscreen +cl_interp_ratio 1 +cl_interp 0.031" ( Because I heard high, nojoy and fullscreen helps with fps) Also cl interp ratio is a old csgo thing that i dont even know if it still does anything in cs2 but when i played with it off and then with it on I FELT like it made a difference... but could be just placebo. Thanks for the awesome guide, really helped out.

If you do put unbindall at the start of the config like some people suggest(great suggestion) make sure you put these binds in: bind "MOUSE_X" "yaw" bind "MOUSE_Y" "pitch" bind "MOUSE1" "+attack" bind "MOUSE2" "+attack2" Otherwise you will not be able to move camera and shoot with the mouse.

You don't really need the left click / right click R throw bind anymore, about a month or two ago valve did an update that made it so if the left and right mouse click are slightly out of sync they will still be treated as being released at the same time.

I have a question, if you have filtering off in the nvidia settings, do they now override the 4xMSAA in the video settings( in counter-strike)?

You can put anisotropic filtering on 16x … it doesn’t impact modern gpus

Do we need to change m_yaw settings like on 4:3 stretched? I recently change my resolution to 16:10 1680x1050 stretched from 4:3 1280x960 stretched. Don't know what m_yaw to use in this case, before I have used 0.0165 and 33%(approximate) more sens. I have used the formula from reddit and now I am using 0.0198 m_yaw and 11%(approximate) more sens.

btw nvidia reflex overrides low latency mode from the control panel so keep low latency mode on off

@EliGE why did you tick the "eninge_low_latency_sleep_after_client_tick" to 1 instead of the default 1?

The ten second warning time. Don't you feel that the new 10 second bomb ticking sound is enough? Or can it be good to have the music in other scenarios?

For your settings in autoexec, did you need to type out every command or is there a way to copy it from another file

I got Donk settings earlier but I changed all video + Nvidia watching this vid for yours. Only 4:3 1280x960 stayed (works better for me than widescreen 16:10) and im shooting on DM like never before :D

when using your mous3 bind to get the lineup square thing it erases my crosshair after i clikc it and have no crosshair would you know why?

I'm guessing since you didn't show it, in nvidia adjust desktop size and position you have the scaling on display and overdrive not ticked?
