Daniele Amani lol, there are no improvements. Facials are a glorified means of paying someone to wash your face. Totally gimmicky. There is no one time use, surface level/superficial treatment that can be made to the skin that would yield noticeable results after a single use/visit. Facials are beneficial and practical more for therapeutic reasons than anything. Think more along the lines of “massage” than along the lines of “treatment”. The only skincare benefit I can see from something like this in terms of improving skins appearance may be receiving at home skincare advice/suggestions from a certified esthetician. If that’s the intent though, someone may be better off scheduling an appointment with a dermatologist instead.
@summer People who dont wear sunscreen age quicker and get wrinkles earlier then people who do. :) so u look young now but those wrinkles will come in because you don't wear sunscreen.
But a beauty treatment such as a facial isn't to treat acne. That's all to do with the at home routine, a facial is just to boost glow, hydration and bounce etc. You don't go to a spa if you have acne or skin problems, you go to a derm or esthetician
@@comleytea9271 That’s not true completely. It can damage skin and eyes and lungs but it would take awhile for any of those effect to weight in, in this case.
@helloo there i'm a certified esthetician and i can tell you that every single skin type (even darker skin tones) NEEDS sunscreen. african americans can and do get skin cancer. perhaps it doesnt prevent acne, but there are many other skin issues caused by the sun. fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin (loss of elasticity/collagen), and pigmentation disorders are all caused or worsened by sun exposure. it doesnt matter if you live in alaska where its really cold, or if its cloudy/raining, the UVA/UVB are still present. only 20-30% of UVA/UVB rays are blocked by clouds.
I have extremely pale skin and if I don’t use it I WILL get skin cancer when I am older. It’s super important to use it no matter what type, it’s the best thing you can do to prevent skin cancer.
They go to dermatologist. Why on earth will they go to spa? Spa is to make you feel fresher and brighter not treat skin problems. I'm sure someone will say 'tHeY sHoUlD dO oN a PeRsOn wIth skIn CaNcER' (btw I'm not teasing skin cancer patients, the people without brain makes these comments.)
SPF is essential for anti aging and overall skin protection. It helps prevent things like dark spots, uneven skin tone, and premature wrinkles. I use a daily morning SPF moisturizer, it's the most crucial part of my skin routine. *PLEASE USE UR SPF DAILY*
Facial is the most relaxing thing I have ever experienced my self. Used to go to a Holistic Clinnic calls Art of Chinese healing in West LA, so lovely 🥰
If your wondering about Rating: •Shen Beauty has 4.8 Stars⭐️ •Silver Mirror Facial bar- UES has 4.7 Stars⭐️ •Heyday- Upper West side has 4.6 Stars ⭐️ •Rescue Spa has a 4.4 Stars ⭐️ Your welcome for those who are curious on wondering which has better ratings
Sooo trying multiple facials in close periods of time you aren't gonna get super accurate results because it's not ur natural skin, it's your skin form the previous facial. Just saying :/
Who the hell is that second-shop-gurl?? Shes hella cute just beautiful *_* her skin is glowing + that smile. Her voice is a key lower than she looks but even thats pretty cool. She kinda looks like shin minah
Its so annoying that most videos don't show a close up "before and after" and just say "oh my skin feels hydrated!" And if they do have a before and after on the "after" photo the person is always smiling to show how their skin improved but you can't actually see the change
She cleanses her skin deeply from the first spa and then goes to the other .. it doesnt make any sense. If she wanted to know the results she should have had 4 girls to try and test differnet spa treatments
@@JohnSmith-kl3nm I guess it's more because of New York. Because putting you under led lights doesn't really count as "training" to me. I can also buy a lamp and use it at home if it's just that. I expect them to at least use their hands for most of the session not just fancy instruments. At least that's what I want when I do facials
Were any of the facials completely fragrance free? I feel like that’s a downfall for most facials. Fragrance is never good for the face yet it’s used in a lot of “skin care”
Earth Pod It’s better to hear it from a dermatologist, like Dr. Dray here on RU-vid, but the concise answer is that it is always irritating and it can cause an allergic reaction at any point, even if you weren’t allergic to it before. It just doesn’t do anything to help your skin. It’s only ever bad.
Professional skin care lines usually don't use fragrances. Now when I saw professional I'm referring to products only licensed Estheticians can purchase. Though I'm not stating all professional lines stay away from them.
@@oatmeal262 it can cause irritation to the skin, most fragrances carry alcohol and other binding products with it. May also cause allergic reactions depending on the type.
I feel like Shen beauty had the most natural products to where you could just re create the facial in an at home routine and save on the $120. Their products are basically natural ingredients, spinach, cucumbers, honey and natural oils with facial massages. Take a trip to the grocery store and facial away!
You could get even more views if you re-uploaded this video with a monotone lower ASMR type speaking narration, and take away the mic'd up voices in the clips and use the camera's audio.
So, only one thing I found too uneasy for me in my opinion she not using any gloves when applying the facial cream that's sure be made for this type of business. Gloves made for this type of business.
Yeah that's true but everytime I spend that much, they usually do a facial by hand (and don't use fancy machines and lights) for at least 60 min or even more. And I'm Swiss so I know what high prices are!
Go to tranquility spa in Westchester, NY. esthetician’s name is Elsa, she’s the best in Westchester, I get hydra facial with laser genesis combined or dermaplane with oxygen treatment, oh my god my skin glows for weeks ✌️
I like the 3rd one the best, massage is everything when I go for a facial, esp when I work in health industry, i know all those gimmick useless O2 tratment does nothing to your skin.
Want nice facials but broke? Look into beauty schools especially one that has esthetician course. They do work under a lisenced professional and they practice on eachother before they get real clients. You can get salon treatments and products for a fraction of the price. That is where all these ladies started.
Aura Tarot vitamin c in the daytime causes your skin to get sensitive due to the sunlight. That’s why you should always use anything with vitamin c in the evening
Darcy Styles but if you use sunscreen over it it actually improves your resistance to sun damage. So perfectly fine for day time use, provided you properly protect your skin.
@@darcystyles5043 While vitamin C can be used in the morning or evening, most prefer to apply it during the day since its antioxidant properties act as a shield to deflect pollution and other environmental aggressors.
The only one that I think gave real helpful advice was the lady who said DO NOT over cleanse your skin People always tell me I have such nice skin and what products I use and blah blah blah I’m like I don’t use any just some warm water here and there. I used to break out all the time when I’d over cleanse. Ever since I went to minimal cleansing my skin became flawless
Your skin looked the best after Heyday. The first two, you looked better before. Slight improvement with Shen but Heyday you were so dewy and glowy afterwards!
