Yay! I am so into skin care! My collection of exfoliations, masks, moisturizers, etc etc etc, is enormous I am a total junkie and loving to hear what you have to say! Most RU-vid skin care advice comes from young whippersnappers interested in acne control and those concerns of younger folks. There is an incredible gap in information for older ladies that enjoy skin care as well. And it is FUN! Thank you so much for this video and I hope it catches on.

Wonderful video! You're a spectacular source for beauty and you are so beautiful! I used Murad Spot treatment with hydroquinone on and off for about 1.5 years. I never had any negative reactions and a big old dark patch on my temple disappeared and has never returned. I stopped using it over a year ago and now that product is discontinued. All your recommendations are tempting. I'll have to try some because another spot on my other temple needs removal. Hope I can get the same results as the Murad. Thank you very much for all the fantastic videos. You're quite an educator.

Actually, most of those over priced products cannot be used with Retin A. I use Retin A 1% gel which has produced better results than any of the expensive products. I use a vit c serum with ferulic and hyaluronic acids by Dr. Brenner which is much cheaper. My face and neck love it. By the way I am 75 and have no wrinkles because of these products.

@@debzter1039 I use Dr. Brenner C Serum ordered from Amazon. I order the Retin A online, however from Tara Skin Care. However, if you have never used Retin A before, it is best to start with .025. 1% will be too strong.

I've been using Glytone's Brightening Complex for 4 years. It has Glycolic acid and Azelaic Acid. Both ingredients are great for age/sun spots. I'm 63 and people tell me to this day, I have beautiful skin. I've been religious with sunscreen for several years. I think Retin- A is overrated. I know women in real life and RU-vid that swear by Retin A, but their skin doesn't look that great. I guess we have to decide what works best for us. By the way, I was told by a dermatologist there is nothing that will erase spots completely.

Loved loved loved this information .....I have a dark spot on my right side in the cheek area ( from being in the driver seat a lot). I would really like to get the BLR P50 .. but I wasn’t really sure if we could get it or how ...how do we order that product and PIGM40? Sounds hard to get ... BTW .. I used to use original Obagi the formula that had the hydroquinone; my skin was flawless; it got rid of all my spots; I have used other products and thus far I have not found a product to fade these spots; I have used many of the products; Thank you for more products to try.

The best dark spot remover I ever used was Mychelle’s apple brightening serum which removed all my sun spots in about a month! Yes, all. And, I didn’t have to use it for years after. But, of course, it was discontinued. Too effective!

I am going to try one, only one, of the products that you have suggested even though I live near the poverty line. We are all adults and can manage our own priorities, right? About 10 years ago one morning I noticed a large dark splotch on the left side of my face. I thought it would go away. It never did. It makes me sad. I want to try to get rid of it. (Of course I first consulted a physician to rule out any serious health issues.) This splotch is probably from sun damage way back in the 60s and 70s when no one used sunscreen. I am excited!

When it comes to "pricey" items, in my experience these usually last longer than you might expect and you don't have to repurchase as often as you do the less expensive ones that do not work as well. Therefore, you are not spending more money in the long run.

Hi ladies I had really dark pigment marks on my neck. People thought it was a large love bite. So embarrassing, I put so many creams and serums on it but it didn’t fade. I realise now that it was hormonal and I changed my diet really cleaning it up and my dark pigment went away. Beauty really is impacted by your health.

I use the Ever exfoliating pads, the Caudelie Vinoperfect serum, and the Caudelie Riche premier cream, along with others. Nikol, you look so strong and powerful, yet feminine in that Chanel jacket. I have a doctor’s prescription for tretinoin which costs almost nothing and is the Rolls-Royce retin product. The rest are just weaker cosmetic versions. I also use alpha arbutin and niacinamide from The Ordinary in the morning, cost about $10 each, both very effective for stopping the melanin production and fading dark spots.

New sub here. Thanks so much for this video, I'm so sure this is exactly what I need. I didn't do any skin care or use sunscreen on my face for all my 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s not did(still) not have a cleaning and moisturizer regimen and my face has paid the price. My entire face is covered in sunspots and is full and dry. When I have a eyebrow wax the lady has a hard time finding my brow ending because of the dark spots. I'm semi fair skinned with gold undertones and have no idea what to use to cover them or to even my complexion. I use peach color corrector but it bleeds through my foundation.. it's so frustrating.😼 I'm looking forward to see what products and routines will work for me.😸

I received Murads Rapid Age Spot & Pigment lightening serum, using it since two weeks, hoping it works. Prior I’ve spent a whole lot of money with no success. Then I got radiotherapy and that helped.

I adore Nikol, but if she can afford these overpriced products, that’s fine. I think that many of us cannot fathom spending that much for a dark spot creme and even resent our utilities charging so much. It is a different world after Covid and we all need to make better choices on where our money goes.

You are right. I will give Nikol credit for putting out videos for affordable skincare for us "regular folks". I have spent 50.00 for a 30 day supply of these types of products...with ZERO results. I have paid 20.00 for others with ZERO results. One did have Hydroquinone(I was desperate) and I believe that one gave me an outbreak of hives that added more dark spots to those areas. SUCKS! I don't know if Nikol will be mentioning this one...but I do have excellent results from a product by TRU ALCHEMY Spot Check. It is a serum that costs 45.00...FOR A 2 MONTH SUPPLY...so not so bad. I told that company that if their product actually WORKED...I would tell everybody about it. So...I am doing that here. It really has faded some of the spots and I have been using it for almost two months. I will continue with it.

She did mention The Ordinary. I’ve switched almost entirely to the Ordinary skin care products now, they may not have fancy packaging or fragrances (which is actually good for me) but they work! They put a lot of science into their products. Their prices are great, you can buy them online, you do need to research what you need.

I am 81 and I have not taken any special care of my skin in past years. Of course now when I look in the mirror I'm regretful that I haven't. I'm desperate now to see whether there is anything I can still do to make myself look the best I possibly can. I didn't even know about RU-vid videos for mature skin, but in the last week I have spent endless hours of watching over and over again your videos. I have to admit that I'm. so confused about so many things that I know so little about. I'm trying to start with caring for my aging skin. Then I have to re-learn how to properly put make up on, and then to choose and afford the most important products to begin the process. I like to look my best and I remain socially active. I will be spending the next 5 months in Florida, but have spent a cold and dry winter in my home town in. Illinois. Pale & dry skin, along with all the aging dark spots and wrinkles cause me lots of anxiety.

I’ve been using Good Genes by Sunday Riley but I don’t think it helps that much with my dark spots at all. It does make my skin feel smooth but it doesn’t fade my dark spots at all. It does smell nice though. It’s a bit pricey though.
