I live in Gdansk for over 3 years now and it's such a beautiful place..I kept coming back to the old town when I get bored at home...and makes me feel paradise, fantastic gdansk...
@@dwardalfonso6498 " Starówka " is the regional name of the old town of Warsaw. There is a "Main City" in Gdańsk ( " Główne miasto . ) Calling the Main Town " old town " is a mistake . So in Gdansk - Główne Miasto, in Warsaw - Starówka.👍
I like your style - start early and avoid the crowds . you get to see all the details and it's more intimate . don't forget to try the czernina ( say chad nina ) soup . thanks for the video
What a pretty city with the canal through it. It’s a shame you didn’t get on the pirate ship but sometimes you can’t do everything you would like to, save it for another time. I was pretty impressed with Emily using aerodynamics when describing the birds but then saying a temperature machine instead of thermometer……classic. Another beautiful video that took us with you to all the wonderful sights. Stay safe, miss you both, love you.xx mum 💕💕
Just beautiful. I've had many people that have visited Poland tell me how clean and beautiful it is. Also, you dont have to worry about the animals/thugs we have here in the states who rob, steal, riot, carjack, etc.
Greetings from Gdansk. Can you imagine that I've lerned from your video about Gabriel Fahrenheit? Unbelivable! Great job and have a great time in Poland!
Gdansk looks really beautiful and again your eye for picture composition is really making it shine! How early did you have to get to the centre to have it to yourselves?
I LOVE Gdansk it’s incredible! Some of my fave videos I made in Gdansk! So happy to see it again! Great job guys! Doing a little planning for my next trip so round your channel
I always admire the appetite of tourists. You actually ate two dinners, a chicken cutlet with potatoes (in Poland they don't eat mashed potatoes, only whole or crushed potatoes), plus pierogi. After dumplings, I'm so full that I couldn't eat any more. In common, out-of-the-way English-speaking restaurants, this may actually be a problem.😄
@@JordanandEmily very overrated. Gdańsk is much more interesting, diverse and beautiful, Kraków being crowded, stuffy and dirty. Also looking only back. Gives me headaches each time I go. Only worth for its ethinc restaurants and artistic and cultural life.
Nope Krakow is unhabitable for anyone whos not a milionare. Crowd everywhere, all parking spots,of you manage to find one thats empty, are all paid per hour and you can lost up to 14€ per day just for leaving your car in unprotected spot. Cousine and clubs are dope but overall feeling is more like more than you can take from this city. 3-city is so much lighter when it comes to structure and city plan, 5 minutes outside of Gdansk and youre in forest, heading to hunderets of lakes that surrounds Gdansk. Not to mention the air which is very different, compared to whats in krakow. We also are much safer ,noone here walks with a knife or weapon, not like in krakow,łódź or katowice, where its normal to be robbed or killed
I remember that day when it was raining during this summer. Literally the 2-3 days when it was raining, all other days were from 26-34 celcius and sunny as hell.
Hi, great video on Gdańsk. This city , along with the Trój Miasto (tri city) region is very popular with local & international tourist during the summer. Hops you will visit my city of Kraków as well..
@@JordanandEmily Thanks! Like you, I LOVE to travel the world. I go somewhere new twice a year. Always looking for the NON-TOURIST places that are the TRUE gems of a town/country. Keep up the good work and traveling!
We were there from the 9th till the 12th of July this year! 😊 Definitely a chilly place (especially compared to where we had been previously!) just googled and today is a high of 19!
@@JordanandEmily now areca catechu 1 dorla for 1, kalanchoe pin nata ( tree life) 2 dorllar for 1 leaf good for asshose stomach ach , not piper betle here ( chicken leaf, trầu)?ok?
It's not a canal, it's a river and it's called the Vltava.( Wełtawa ) When you travel around the world, you should learn at least the basics of foreign languages and not require knowledge of English.
You don't find it just a bit strange that 'ancient' city of Gdansk is somehow made of concrete? It is pretty, yes, but made in past century. I just hate polish cuisine, boiled minced meat was never my thing.
@@AnaKovacevic84 aaahhh, We thought the city was founded in the 10th century! That seems to be what everyone online thinks! So strange, we loved all the polish food 😄 big chunks of meat, nice wholesome stews and great beer!
