as a Vermonter, I have to say that I am a little upset that The Wayside wasn't mentioned. It has been open for 101 years now, and owned by the same family for the same amount of time. It has classic Green Mountain diner food that is so homey and comforting.

I live in MN. Psycho Suzie is okay. It's a hit or miss. If you want good beer and food. Go to Shirley Brewery.

I tried to write down the home made BBQ sauce @ the Fox Brother's BBQ in Atlanta. Got all but one of the last listed: homeade ketchup; distilled white vinegsr; Texas Pete's hot sauce; granulated garlic; black peper; Black strap molasses; Worcestershire Sauce; Chile powder;some kind of disk - maybe a solifified fat; ????? salt

FYI, Jackson Hole,Wyoming and the Grand Teton Range are NOT, I repeat NOT!! in Yellowstone National Park. Look at a map of Wyoming, it's pretty easy to see.

I can’t believe Ruth’s Diner in SLC, UT made this list! There are dozens of diners and dives in UT that are miles ahead of Ruth’s…it’s old, but the food is nothing special. Try Pizza Inn pizzeria in Davis County for truly delicious food.

I agree, I think Chick’s Cafe in Heber City, UT and the Italian Place in Lindon/American Fork, UT are or were the best when I lived in Utah. Also The One Man Band in Pleasant Grove, UT was fabulous. Also The Pie near the University of Utah campus is legit too!

Frankln's has much better BBQ than Pecan Lodge. You get there at 6am to stand in line until they open. (10am) Once they run out of Brisket that's it for the day. Need to come to Austin for that.

If you were planning a trip from, for example, Chicago to Houston, where would you eat? Likewise from San Diego to Salt Lake City? Wouldn't it be possible to make a website that would offer that service? From Miami to St. Louis?

going through Illinois i would go to anywhere in springfield il that serves horse shoes. Two pieces of toast with your meat choices on top covered in cheddar cheese sauce on top with french fries on top. Great and filling sandwich. . You can get a pony which is half the size of the horseshoe. Its a great sandwich.

Ffs. Wisconsin was fixed in this episode. Delta Diner?? Been here five decades and I've never heard of it. With the best cheeses in the world, along with sausages and beef, nobody does pizza like Wisconsin. Where do you think all of the world famous pizza joints in Chicago get their food supplies from? Yep. Wisconsin. The hidden gem for pizza and burgers.

I went to Trinity College in Burlington. This was in 1972-73. Used to sneak out the basement windows after hours and hitchhike to Winooski to the Mill. Fuzzy cheap beer was a quarter, Needless to say, the nuns caught on and I was asked to leave. Oh well, good times!

Pounds in ND is NOT even good. Wth - so many good restaurants in Fargo and they pick this dive. No menus because everything is spendy and extra! The waitress was very snotty. They won’t be there long.

I've been to Melissa's in Horn Lake and....well, it's ok. It's "tourist bbq" for people that have never had the real deal, like you find in W TN. Scotts in Lexington, TN, for instance. So yeah, TN should have had a bbq place. I have always been disappointed with any of the DDD places I've visited.
