Wow love it!!! Always love finding new Edm artists and DJ’s. I do Edm too. And my parrots just composed their first rock song. It came out so good so guess my music lessons paid off so we made it into a music video showing off their other talents cuz when im not making music im a bird trainer. Welp you’ve earned a new fan today. You might like some of my music too. We seem to have similar taste but I do all kinds also so If you like Edm, ambient, funk, industrial, rock, disco… I do a lot of fusion blending. Lots of percussion layering. Ok now I go find part 2…
I struggle with this genre of music. It sounds repetitive, with the same kinds of drops. But I can see why others like it. It has that exciting, hype energy that works well with big crowds.
Not really, i personally only like EDM like Clarity here, or Porter Robinson, maybe Avicci and not some huge drops like the last two here, it just like pierces you with the number of perfectly matched layers, it's not like the more or the louder the better at least in my opinion
As a big EDM listener, I'll tell you right here and now that most of the mainstream tracks are shit (I literally don't like any of the songs the guy played in this Short, for example). French house artists got it right, though. They produce banger after banger. Listen to Daft Punk's early work. I'm not talking about Homework. Roulé, Together, Crydamoure, Le Knight Club, that's what's up. DJ Falcon, Alan Braxe, Fred Falke, Bob Sinclair, Modjo, these guys are the real heroes. Outside of France, you have plenty of great artists as well, like Deadmau5, Green Velvet, Sam Gellaitry, Michael Grey, Terrence Parker, Luke Slater, and Romanthony.
