I own this guitar and I dropped in some Bare-Knuckle War Pigs alnico. Dark and brutal AF. Do you have neck dive on yours?

I haven’t experienced any neck dive. About to overhaul this though with a tonepros bridge and tail piece, hip shot locking tuners and I think I’m going with Seymour Duncan Black Winter pickups. I kinda like the sound it has for what I used it for but I want something a little more robust so it’s useable for anything I do.

Great review and introduction of this EC 256. This guitar, actually the LTD 200 series might be the best bang for the buck at the current moment. The guitars are mostly well made (sometimes someone is bound to get a "lemon"), but that is part of the game. As for me I can testify the solid construction of these guitars owning an EX-200 and an Eclipse 87NT. Both guitars feel really good, but the Eclipse87 just steals the show being a Korean made instrument. My only complains out of the box for the Ex 200 would be the guitar nut not being the greatest, tuners are decent but I would recommend locking Gotoh and ultimately the pickups are good for heavy stuff but lack definition. I am happy with both guitars and I am looking forward to get the new EX 200 in Olympic White, who knows maybe even a Vintage Gold Satin.

Thank you. You're on the mark, and a lemon can come from any brand and any price point too. I bought a Fender Player Series strat that had the absolutely worst frets I've ever played. Needed leveled, the ends sprouted so bad it chipped the finish. It was bad. For guitars around this price point though, I can accept that more than I could a guitar that's near $1000. I'm weird though, I buy guitars that I like the look of then deal with issues they may have later.
