The best ERF sound straight pipe 

How glorious does THIS sound. Love it.

Best truck ERF made. Miss loads of these and Fodens thundering through Sandbach on test everyday. All you could smell was paint getting warm for the first time. Plus highly skilled employment for a whole town of thousands, Foden employees alone were 3000 at one point. Waitrose and B&M now the only job prospects

Awesome. No sound remotely like a straight pipe Hummin Cummins in an ERF.

I still drive around site in a 1998 ERF EC11 she's old but gold still pulls like a train.

I may be mad but MAN was a bit shortsighted by deciding to phase out ERF. I have never driven an ERF but had great respect for them and loved the Cummins sound ( E10-325). As far as I could tell, loyal operators who couldn't buy ERF moved to Volvo, Scania, Daf, Iveco, Mercedes and MAN. Mainly Daf and Volvo by the looks of things. MAN would have done so much better by keeping the ERF name and the Cummins option. Just a thought. Maybe I am mad.

what made erf great was 13speed Road ranger gearbox once u had hang of it u did not need clutch
