I like Farzad also. I don't watch all his content because it's very Tesla specific but I like Farzad and Farzad has good, positive energy.

Farzad is stuck in a Tesla rabbit hole from which he'll never emerge. Too repetitive with no independent journalism

I used to put a playing card in my bicycle wheel to make the bike sound like a motor cycle. Same premise with the EV motor sound effects.

I put $100 down for a Rivian R2. I’ll wait patiently until 2026. My neighbor last month leased a Polestar taking advantage of their lease offer.

Thank you for this video. If it weren’t for this, I likely would have spent the next 12 months irritated at the lack of news about the US version of the Ford Explorer EV.

I'm still an ICE vehicle fan but I enjoy the EV discussions and debate. I don't even like CVTs in ICE vehicles, nor the backup humming sounds of Hybrid and EVs. That said I think it's great to have EVs and plug in hybrids as a choice. With zero commute and only 4500 miles a year across three cars I don't use much fuel.

I wonder if Consumer Reports repair numbers take into account that a fender bender that dings the battery pan would require replacement of the battery or junking the car. The nearest collision repair center for a Tesla is 86 miles from my home.

Not sure where you live but 86 miles is further than most people probably live from one. There are 3 within 50 miles of me in the north east, and they have mobile service. Also there are shops that repair batteries now.

Hi guys, Good work. Am I correct to assume this channel is to promote EVs and to report on news on same? I assume this is not inteded for a critical analysis of the pros and cons. Channel seems influenced by personal opionions, (with some of the hosts more dominant than others) assume this is intended. I think it would be very helpful to make the case for Evs when you discuss them. This includes all pros and all cons and practicality considerations. A balanced approach will add to your credibility which is already good. I like your channel but would like more objectivity. The balanced comment not only applies to this channel but several other YT EV channels, they seem to be advocates and cheerleaders, Its hard for a person trying to evaluate something critically to listen to bias.

This channel is an offshoot of Car Edge (they help folks buy/sell cars for a commission) which is an opinion ICE vehicle channel. Ray is the father of Zack who started Car Edge. Justise and Phil both work for Zack. Justise describes this as a EV debate show between Justise, Ray and Phil.

@@dianewallace6064 thanks for your thoughtful and helpful repsonse.. It seems like Justise is really bought in on EVs, thats cool. So its focus more on helping people buy these and not reviewing them if I understand, thanks.

@@Sagewyn Yup, Justise owns a Tesla model 3. Ray owns an ICE BMW Mini and Phil owns multiple ICE vehicles (including a BMW Clubman) but may purchase an EV at some point. It is an entertaining debate show.

It's hard to be balanced. Most posts are either positive or negative. Trouble is that many of the negatives are people who haven't even driven, much less owned an EV. All the BS about 1 hr. To charge, and only go 75 miles, and don't work in the cold. Many of the positive people are EV owners and they love their EVs. I'm a prime example, live in Wisconsin (gets cold in winter), put over 20,000 miles a year on my car, and haven't had to use a fast charger in 11 months. All charging is done at home except road trips. I personally wouldn't ever go back to a gas car as the EVs benefits are just too great.

Lexus Woke up on their EV supercar and ditched the abyssmal fron tend styling they had with their ice cars. People end up "liking" ugly designs like that 10 years later because they got used to it and no other options. Finally a design that does not look horrendous.

Justise you mentioned that it felt like Chevy wasnt talking to base about EV version of Corvette and I assume you feel the same way about Chargers and Challengers. I feel the same as you only about the whole industry. No one in government or companies is listening to the base or concerned about what they want, Sure they are in realtions to those who want EVs but not ICE. Freedom of choice is being eroded and in my opinion the country is lesser for it. Citizens are forced to pay taxes to support subsidies that will increase EV sales which will in the long term limit thier choice to only EVs , assuming logistics of such a change widescale are practical. Mankind is capable of adapting and surviving to many hardships ( think oopressive govts as an alanogy) but look how they thrive when they have freedom. It appears EV is not an organic growth of demand rather an extensive of the "environmental " movement. Truly better ( from all satandpoints) mousetraps will take over organically , think horse and buggy vs gasoline engine car. No one mandated gas cars.or subsidized them , they just were the obviously better solution. Do people (politicians who make laws or bureaucrats) really care what the public wants or are they pusihng their agenda similar to that of plitics and religions? I might consider an EV perhaps as a second or third car, IF it isnt mandated. Eventually though I have no doubt people will find a way to force them, much like prisoners have to eat prison food and not what they want. Time will tell how the technology develops and whether it can be a huge widespread success. I'd like to not be in on the early part of that curve losing on dropping vlaues and current limitations. Even then I probably woudl still select an ICE car assuming I could get fuel.

I do agree.....alas there can be good hi quality reliable No Fire Bursting EV's they just need to be completely re-designed. I see all these companies floundering why ? because they are trying to be different, trying to stand out. Hense the excessive use of electronics for EVERYTHING. This is the problem. I get the vehicle has to be Cheeply Made, Last till the Warrany is up, NOT Blow Up on the internet, and be attractive to the marketed buyer's price range. Huberus of car designers is what is biting them. Don't know where they got there sales demographic information. The most challenging thing you can do is use electronics in devices that Shake & Rattle, with extreme Humidity and Dry Heat. In my opnion they need to cut out all the CRAP, bluetooth gadgets, iPads, heated break pedels, hand warming what evers. Sure use the Battery and reduction gear boxes but beyond that make everyting with the old standard cheep levers, pullies, buttons knobs and switches ! they worked in the past they will work in the future. Might actually be cheeper and more reliable ! Its not that HARD, these guys are so out of touch with reality they all need to go down ! scrap the entire system and start over. Personally I hope they all FAIL. While I keep driving my 25 year old trusty GAS GUZZLER that has withstood the test of time and 200 K miles. This tech is too new, too prone to FATAL Driver issues, to laden with propitary tech. Pure Huberous !
