Hey Ecko, thank you so much for checking out FARMING again. We've loved working on the new cooking update, and have tried to put our everything into this. We're all so excited and happy with the love and overall reaction to everyone enjoying the more detailed cooking experience ❤
@@Antonn345 It's been something that we have and continue to think about. Adding chopped ingredients complicates a lot of recipes but also add's a lot of new ingredients and textures, which can affect the performance on lower end devices.
@@desertfoxxx98 Mojang released the custom block structures feature into preview this week, that's the feature we need to turn all crops, bushes and trees from entities into blocks. Once that releases we'll be providing a free update for that. As for tree textures, they'll be turned into blocky, more Minecraft structures with the Blocks update.
@@hexinglaughingjack7515 Yeah the option to turn off spawning is in the book. I still get some berry bushes spawn, but very sparse, not like how the add-on was originally. Yeah check out the book that came with the add-on!
Honestly the ability to disable crows is a game changer 😂 maybe at some point when Mojang can get to making mob spawning more friendly for add ons they can come back, but they were too agressive and tend to ignore the scarecrow until it was too late 💀
I simply put four walls and a roof to stop all crows XD 😅(a glass Roof, mind you). That seemed to confuse crows entirely lol never had a problem since.... They don't attack crops that are in doors 🤔
Great video Ecko! Although, You missed a couple things, you can now place all canned foods, jarred foods, and drinks as blocks, and cans can be placed 4 to a block!
Are the crops still weird? Like, the regular crops plant and break weirdly, not like regular crops. And making a big farm of them causes a lot of framerate lag. Has anyone else noticed this sort of problem?
@@RainbowDeath0 thank goodness, cause I was looking forward to making a huge wide variety farm just to get hit with the worst lag of my LIFE. Hope that update comes quick
i know its a minor detail but i wish the corn left a cob behind which could be composted. I also wish the set up with the stove, stove top, and pot and pan was a bit shorter so you can see down into it having to hop up and down to see into it just seems a bit silly.

Also amazing news, yk how this addon causes lag because the crops are entities? And the trees look odd? Minecraft added the support to do that in the latest preview so now all the crops will be blocks and there will be proper trees im so excited
any recommendations for a decent furniture add-on that uses blocks not entities that you can do things like put things on the shelves or thetables? I only have a switch so can only use ones that’s in the marketplace.
Use the furniture add-on made by XP Games. I use it and it's fantastic! No entities, they are actual blocks and items and some items do have functionality and it's by far the best add-on
Bro i add this bs k because I dint know I can make things and cook Now I can get useful of my restaurants abd mske or cook foods Set table plates even food on table I I csn only have played and make a role playing Now that I have a great Restaurant I made a crackerbarel restaurant I have a ice cream parlor or make new restaurants This is great I do have lot to do on my Burger King or McDonald’s remodel the inside
Just for your information, I found that with the most recent update the world is still lagging the longer you play, hopefully it gets fixed soon. (I also play with Realismcraft and Naturalist in the same world, and during world generation, berries and saplings generated on the ground in a form of dropped items, I bet this might be what causing lag) (Ill check if crop spawning will fix it)
This is definitely the best cooking add on on the market. It’s giving farmers delight feels which I’m all for. I hope that they might add a winery side to this add on and if they made all of the food 3D and the soups didn’t need a plate, this food add on would be perfect

Hey Eco I have a question about add-ons that add mobs, is it one of bedrock limitations that an add-on can't shut off the normal mob spawning? I just seen sever playthroughs for pc where only custom mobs spawned in those servers so I was just curious
Yes, I spoke to the creators. They said they felt it didn't have enough content, they have removed it for now until they add more content or find better use for it.
I noticed that add-ons do not give achievements on regular worlds.But if I do the add-ons on a realm. achievements still work. Can someone please tell me if add ons Remove achievements?? Google says addons but from like march and obv marketplace addons came out much later
I noticed that the addon doesn’t work with texture packs and I tried two to see if it was the pack acting up🙁 It’s really just the birds that don’t work Pls fix this creators of the addon because I need my realism texture

Just fyi, vanilla cooking of things like our new meat is still completely possible. We added this as a way for you to optionally have a more complex cooking experience. If you don't want it, then you can continue cooking the good ol vanilla way :)
I’ve never even seen the crows or animals cuz all the crops were entities and lagged up my server… And they kept spawning everywhere I had to destroy them. Thank god they added the feature to remove it but I hope they made them blocks not entities otherwise I’m not downloading it again.
To be honest, we picked the material that was among the most useless in vanilla and roughly the right sort of colour and material (in our imaginations, maybe not irl?) and used that. I think one of the fun things about add-ons is the ability to give life to sometimes forgotten materials and resources that you either ignore in your vanilla world or have chests upon chests of them with no real way to use them.
@@darknesswave100 what? I said free add-ons are better Not that mean I want people to work free lmao. There are many paid add-ons which i bought from marketplace and they were buggy and useless.
