Thank you. And yes even with the RTV issues! I did a bit more research, and there definitely is an excess amount of RTV sealing the oil pan. However it isn’t enough to clog the pick up tube. Plenty of people have tracked the car, and driven it under heavy loads without any issues. As far as I’m concerned, I think we’ve only seen one case where an engine did blow up. @savagegeese ‘s long term review addresses this. TLDR: yes a lot of RTV sealing oil pan, but not enough to block pickup tube. GR Supra in manual was definitely on my radar too! But being double the price of this car, with only a few seconds faster on the track, I couldn’t justify purchasing.
