Thank you for making this because I have a major problem gaining weight and I'm currently in a massive downward spiral right now and need help gaining weight, to the point that I'm actually scared something is wrong and I won't be able to gain weight.... Years and years of constantly being sick and huge drops in weight and I still don't have a diagnosis, I've tried many things and I'll probably do these in excess just to try and gain a couple of pounds. It's getting harder to ignore whenever my clothes just fall off and my skin hurts... I'm hoping I can gain anything from this. 🤞🙏
When you have an infection honey can sometimes end up feeding that infection in the gut, I think a safer way would be 24 hour raw fermented yogurt, raw cream and milk if you can tolerate it. If not I think you need to heal your gut before you can tolerate honey in my case it made my symptoms worse sadly b yes overall honey is amazing if you can tolerate it
I have seen more RU-vid guys advertising honey and saying it can't feed "bad" bacteria which trigger inflammation. Buuut my real life experience was that after I included honey in my diet my inflammation got crazy I also had horrible headaches, mucus and itchy throat - basically allergic reaction I guess. I don't know - but I am guessing that maybe as the honey gets digested in stomach it might change it's properties and actually could feed some bacteria. I don't know, I am just guessing, so I am careful with honey, and I can't tolerate 24hrs fermented yogurt or kefir neither. The only dairy I digest fine are hard cheeses and Ghee Butter. (Also I noticed my tongue got much whiter after eating honey so I think it might be feeding the bacteria)
Great video bro, nicely explained and articulate to listen to 👍 Can I use a high grade Manuka honey instead of raw honey, I only have Manuka honey available to buy, it’ll be a very high MGO one, 840+, or better yet 1000+? I’m going to give this a go, il buy the Baltic honey UK, jus saw the link :)
Thank you very helpfull information l will try the honey you recommended the manuka is so expensive l agree very sweet of you to share the things you have learned to help others
Thank you for your lovely words as always Pixie B! I just made a lot of mistakes in my past with this condition, and I think it's only fair that I share what I've put years of research into, to avoid others ending up in a similar position. Best of luck with the honey - I really hope you love it as much as I do!
Manuka honey healed my esophageal ulcer....... I use it when I have a flare up. I would only do manuka....but that’s my preference. I never gained weight with it
It will most probably mate, it's packed with sugar. Any food containing sugar or carbs will allow you to keep the weight up, but it'll also give you energy - it's a difficult situation for sleeping, maybe try consuming it earlier in the day
It fills me up with gas. But will try it again to see how it goes. On the other hand I had some lemongrass with a spoon of butter the other day and felt great.
Do what feels right for you mate, I personally don't think attempting to gain weight in anyway through diet is the healthiest option and will inevitably slow digestion down, but this was literally one of the only foods I could think of that would allow you to do it in somewhat of a healthy way for those with compromised guts
